Mark 2:28 Son of the Sabbath or Lord of the Sabbath?

I have a request and need some help for the understanding of Mark 2:28. It seems to me that Mark 2:28 can be understood at first glance in a different sense than traditionally assumed. I try to be clear about whether this other understanding is possible and to what extent. Please note that this is n...

B.H.Streeter, The Four Gospels , 1924 I suggest that the author of Proto-Luke the person, I mean, who combined together in one document Q and the bulk of the material peculiar to the Third Gospel was no other than LUKE, the companion of Paul. And I suggest that this same Luke some years afterwards e...

Re: On dating the Gospels late e.g. 120CE

You obviously don't know many German people. It isn't just a racial thing. I was told by a Jewish lady I knew a funny story about an old German Jewish survivor who ran a Kibbutz. When my friend Heidi got to the kibbutz the German (Jewish) lady told her how to lay each table down to the correct way ...

Adamczewski, Bartosz The Gospel of Mark A Hypertextual Commentary Introduction This commentary greatly differs from other modern commentaries on the Gospel of Mark. The difference results from the particular methodological approach which has been adopted therein. Instead of explaining the Marcan Gos...

Sorry, I don't get this - what is the normal meaning? "this"? Then what is the abnormal meaning ? 'At no point' but also 'at key points'. I just don't understand you here. Hi Kapyong, sorry, my English is not so good, you have to read with a little bit good will, what I write. Please note...

Re: Does anyone have On the Historicity of Jesus yet?

to Kunigunde Kreuzerin, I did not quite understand your explanation in favor of the above: can you elaborate? Cordially, Bernard It would be a possibility that one of them changed with intention the text of Isaiah 29:13. The other simply quoted what he was reading. The question is: Who and why? In ...

Re: Did Clement know G.Mark or vice versa ?

Well, first you set up a rhetorical question "Did Clement know about Mark"? Then you show some similarities between the two. Then you assume Clement copied from G.Mark. I don't see any argument for why it can't be the other direction? Just an assumption it went one way. Did G.Mark copy fr...
