Re: Against Marcion Studies
I am indebted to Secret Alias for providing this detailed analysis showing a specific stage of development of Anti-Marcionist Propaganda. The best title has already been used by Judith Lieu who in her book Making of a Heretic best reflects the specific development of this propaganda over a longer ...

Re: Reflections on the Mythicists and the Historical Jesus
???? The goal of the project was to find common source and solve synoptic problem. He started with protoMark theory. The same result was obtained by Burkett or Boismard. Single protoMark is not a solution. So what is your problem?

Re: Reflections on the Mythicists and the Historical Jesus
Klinghardt went through both paths - priority of Mark and priority of *Ev. Analyzing priority of Mark he came to proto-Mark A and proto-Mark B Where does Klinghardt write about this proto-Mark A and proto-Mark B? I don't know if he wrote it that way. I think I heard it as part of some public discus...

Re: Reflections on the Mythicists and the Historical Jesus
Recently even Vincent has begun to doubt the homogeneity of *Ev, which he expressed on his blog. the *Ev's priority is in terms of knowledge , not in terms of existence . Did Marcion wrote his Gospel from oral material or redacted it from earlier collections? - my change of mind. Markus Vinzent. ht...

Re: Reflections on the Mythicists and the Historical Jesus
I don't know if he wrote it that way. I think I heard it as part of some public discussion about Klinghardt's reconstruction. Trobisch blurted out that they couldn't propose proto Mark in one edition to be a common source for Luke and Matthew. Something like that. A and B is used in Boismard's and B...

Re: Priority of anything is a bad idea.
*Ev is a composite of texts from Luke and Matthew and is the first gospel of the synoptic group. Egerton 2 clearly shows that the synoptics worked together.

Priority of anything is a bad idea.
All my posts have described what I will give in bullet points. 1. Marcion was the first leader of orthodoxy to combine content based on revelation with myths about the historical Jesus. 2. *Ev was the first product of the synoptic team. 3. Luke/Acts was the last product of the team to include the te...

Re: Reflections on the Mythicists and the Historical Jesus
under the Markan priority, we have the euhemerization of YHWH by using a man (Jesus). Hence Tite's argument works: the character is there , therefore he existed. And Markan priority is a good theory. Klinghardt went through both paths - priority of Mark and priority of *Ev. Analyzing priority of Ma...
