Re: David Oliver Smith's Analysis of the Jesus Myth

Re: The Transfiguration as Crucifixion of Glory: Moses and Elijah the original two robbers occupying the two first place

What if "thieves and robbers" merely refers to the likes of Thudas and the Egyptian.

I.E., any/all Fourth Philosophy (like) Messianic contenders pre Jesus (or whatever his name was) were merely thieves and robbers. This fits with Josephus' name for them.

Re: Passages that show Paul thought Jesus was pre-existent?

Would a Paul who penned "And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.", and who assures us that he does not lie, be considered to believe in such an entities pre-existence? And if so, what lower pleromic status might ...

Re: What was Paul's primary lesson he wanted people to learn

Nice! Paul's seriously twisted logic that the promised "seed" was actually singular, and as such referred to Jesus, was yet another of the primary lessons Paul wanted people to learn. But Genesis 13:16 and 15:5 seem impossible to rectify with the non-plurality of the singular word "s...
