Re: Mark's "intended" ending
If the disciples were 20 years old in 30 AD when Jesus started his teaching, they would be 70 years old in 90 AD. John supposedly lived a long time and Polycarpus; AD 69 – 155 claims to have known John. I think that the gospels reflect the apostles' contemporary stories/claims/narratives to a great...

Re: Best Biblical arguments that Jesus is in Eucharist bread
In what sense is the "The wine stand[ing] for the vine of David"? "the fulfillment of the prophecies through Jesus" in the Bible is Jesus' death and resurrection in Psalm 16 and 22, according to Acts. But not according to the formula in the Didache. The Didache never says if it ...

Re: Mark's "intended" ending
I assume when you wrote “apostles' lifetime” you mean “disciples’ lifetime”. I would expect most disciples to be dead by 70 CE. There is no strong evidence that the gospels we have today were written before this. I believe that Q was written before this, but I am not sure the scholarly consensus ag...

Re: Best Biblical arguments that Jesus is in Eucharist bread
The Revelation of God does not change and it is meant to be used when it is given. Many people have been legally murdered as heretics , apparently for not knowing about Aristotle I doubt that the RC Church ever killed someone for picking the Calvinist/Zwinglian symbol-only view over the Lutheran/An...

That Jesus died is accepted by all Christian churches. That the bread is the flesh of the man Jesus is not and that the wine is the blood of the man Jesus is not accepted by all Christian Churches either. Re: Best Biblical arguments that Jesus is in Eucharist bread
Any discussion of this topic without looking at the Aristotelian ideas of essential and accidental properties and later Platonic treatments thereof will not get to the ground of this question. As Platonism has run its course, most people don't really understand this way of thinking about the natura...
