Re: Artifact/ Inscription relating to the Exodus
There is no Wiki page artifacts relevant to the bible or artifacts significant to the bible or relevant to the exodus. There is one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_artifacts_in_biblical_archaeology (or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_artifacts_significant_to_the_Bible which redirects to ...

Re: Is the Egyptian god Seth related to the Israelites?
It is possible that the Egyptian Set and Set race may match the line of Seth in the Bible, though I'm not sure whether the 2 persons names share cognate origins. Set/Seth is son or son-in-law of Re/Ra [= Atum god of setting sun] in some accounts (Egyptian). Set was "protector of Ra", and d...

Re: Artifact/ Inscription relating to the Exodus
Can't you remember any more details like any names etc to either help people find or help you to find (searching works best with rarer names or phrases)? (Have your tried searching "artifacts relevant to the bible" in speech marks (if that is all the correct words)?) (Though sadly I've fou...

Re: When did Israel become strictly monotheist?
I know that this is abit different to what you meant, but perhaps turn the question the other way around and ask when did the Hebrews/Israelites/Jews first come to worship other gods other than Elohim/Yhwh/Adonai? (and what evidence is there for it?) It depends on whether one believes in evolution o...

Updated Goshen article is posted here https://iwillnotbeassimilated.blogspot. ... -nile.html .
Not sure whether Eretz Goshen/Gesem/Kessan may match Er-ges-her/Giza/Gizeh, but it is intriguing possibility.
Fine to discuss any points here.

Rohl's Joseph in Egypt
I've been unfairly practically banned by Rohl from the Rohl group in groups.io (previously in Yahoo groups) and on facebook because of disagreements on which dynasty Joseph was in Egypt, and on the locations of Goshen, Ramses, Yam Suph, Sinai/Horeb. So I can't reply to the comments on things like th...

Re: Martin Bodinger's “L'énigme de Melkisédeq” 1994 essay, translated.
I couldn't read the full document as Jstor login page doesn't have boxes showing for username and password (tried all 3 browsers). Biblically I think the theory that Melchizedek is Shem seems probably right. Melchizedek's having no mentioned parents could match Shem as having no parents after the Fl...

Re: Is Apulia mentioned in Isaiah 66:19 ?
Pul is more likely related to Punt or Punic or P(h)ut or Fulah/Fulbe or Hul.
(Not sure if I remember seeing a similar name to Pul or Put in the ancient/modern Eritrea/Djibouti/Sudan area?)
Puglia/Apulia doesn't look linguistically very likely (minus the A-, -g-, -ia). Pwyll? Pole/Poland?

Joseph's famine early not late
In our net/web postings about Joseph & Jacob being in the 3rd & 4th dynasties of Egypt many people refuse to consider our details matches evidences or synchronisms possible, and many keep contending that Joseph was in other later dynasties especially the 11th/12th (Courville, Rohl) or 15th/1...

Re: Yeishu v Yehoshua
Its by no means certain that Yeishu ha-Notzri of the Talmud is the same as Jesus. Yeishu was during the Maccabees period but Jesus was in the Roman/Herodian period. If Yeishu is Jesus then the Jews have corrupted and teleported Jesus into Yeishu of the Maccabees period rather than Jesus being a corr...
