This particular artifact (bequeathed in 1931 to what was then known as The Walters Art Gallery) was probably held/handled by the Subject of my research, a staff-member at Walters for several years during the 1940s. Since their book incorporated Moses-Thoth mythologies, and they had read/been inspired by Daniel Völter’s Jahwe und Mose im Licht aegyptischer Parallelen [1919], this specific object carries some mystical significance - a metaphysical connection to the past - in my own investigation.

(I just found the picture online. I finished the last draft of my English translation of Daniel Völter's Jahwe und Mose (1919), which is now added and freely accessible at The Internet Archive.)
