What is your point about all this?

We know the text was plagiarized from biblical traditions and you will even see hints of Nestorianism if one looks deep enough, guess where it came from?

I've discussed Christoph Luxemberg's work in detail in this thread: Biblical Criticism & History Forum - earlywritings.com • View topic - Syro-Aramaic reading of the Koran, along with lots of other stuff on the early history of Islam.

He proposes that the Koran was rather imperfectly translated from Syro-Aramaic originals. Some things were gained in translation, like white raisins becoming houris, those lovely ladies that male Muslims get in the Islamic Paradise.
