I would like to learn more about korans origins from a historical perspective
I'm curious if the author of this piece is biased.

On one side his slide he says academic study of religion presumes naturalism ( no causes outside nature) however he also says it would be wrong to view koran as not a miracle.

I get it would be outside the scope of determining if a miracle occured without evidence. But if one is looking at a piece of evidence im unsure why analyzing it to see if there is anything outside the laws of nature to justify it being a miracle or not.
