Gal 3:5 ἐνεργῶν δυνάμεις ἐν ὑμῖν as "energizing powers"

"How deep and universal is the tendency to thaumaturgy...
is shown by a single instance; his words in this same letter:
"he who energized powers in you" are transformed into:
"he that worketh miracles among you,"
in the received translations;
thus clearly adapting to the purposes of thaumaturgy what Paul as clearly spoke of the inner man."
--Theosophy – August 1896 THE CONVERSION OF PAUL: II, by "C."

Gal 3:5
ὁ οὖν ἐπιχορηγῶν ὑμῖν τὸ Πνεῦμα
The one therefore supplying the Spirit in you
καὶ ἐνεργῶν δυνάμεις ἐν ὑμῖν
and energizing powers in you...

I agree with the anonymous 19th century theosophist: "energizing powers in you" makes a better translation, and the sense is parallel to "supplying the Spirit". Paul spoke of inner energy, just as the Strongs lexicon states:

"energéō... properly, energize, working in a situation which brings it from one stage (point) to the next, like an electrical current energizing a wire, bringing it to a shining light bulb."

How interesting that in all translations I could find, "working miracles" is preferred.
