Why Jesus was a "carpenter": in virtue of nagar

Post by Giuseppe »

Without disturbing nagar and Tammuz-Adonis, it seems that the Aramaic n'sar alone already means 'to saw", so raising the allusion to the typical action of a carpenter.

More respect, please, for prof Guignebert.

The consonants do not all match.
