Why the Golgotha? Because Melkizedek sacrificed there and was buried there

Post by Giuseppe »

XIX.— Golgotha.

From the tomb to Golgotha is eighty paces.^ On one
side it is reached by steps, up which our Lord ascended to
be crucified. In the place where He was crucified, drops
of blood appear upon the rock itself. At one side is
the altar of Abraham, whither he went to offer up Isaac ;
there also Melchisedec offered sacrifice

According to Slavonic Enoch, Melkizedek was buried in the center of the world.

The Cave of Treasures explains us that the center of the world was the Golgotha.
