So atonal. Almost monochromatic. Do you know if there are any transcriptions of this into standard notation?

I don't know but I think the song suffers from having a scholar playing the instrument. They can be such losers. Imagine finding the transcription to AC DC Highway to Hell 2000 years from now and having someone like that playing it on a reconstructed acoustic guitar. A lot of music depends on the command that the musicians have playing the song. I know this because I've done a lot of bad cover versions of songs. You've got to convince the audience you own the material. This guy is making mistakes all the time. But at least you get an idea of what the music might have sounded like ... I think.
