Regarding the "doers of the Torah" passage in the Habakkuk Pesher ("Its interpretation concerns all Doers of the Torah [osei ha-torah] in the House of Judah, whom God will save from the House of Judgment because of their works and faith in the Righteous Teacher"), as far as I can tell from a casual search (and feel free to correct me), only James and Paul use this expression in the entire NT:

Rom. 2:13: "For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law [ποιηταὶ νόμου] who will be justified."

James 4:11: "But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law [ποιητὴς νόμου] but a judge."

This is curious given that the Habakkuk Pesher mentions the Righteous Teacher along with the Spouter of Lies (who opposed the Torah) in the context of "works and faith" and being a "doer of the Torah."
You know in spite of all you gained, you still have to stand out in the pouring rain.

The above is also in the broader context of the "new covenant" in a place called Damascus and revolves around Hab. 2:4 ("the righteous shall live be his faith").

Eisenman notes that James 2:20 refers to an "empty" or "vain" man (sometimes translated as "foolish") in the works and faith issue:

"You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?"

"Foolish" here is kene (κενέ), which means " empty, vain, hollow."

According to the Habakkuk Pesher, "the Liar" and his followers did not listen to the Righteous Teacher and were unfaithful in the new covenant because they didn't believe in the old covenant:

"[Interpreted, this concerns] those who were unfaithful together with the Liar, in that they [did] not [listen to the word received by] the Teacher of Righteousness from the mouth of God. And it concerns the unfaithful of the New [Covenant] in that they have not believed in the Covenant of God [and have profaned] His holy Name."

It then contrasts the "works" (again: "amal") of the Liar (which here Vermes does translate as "labour") with the "works" (or amal) of the "Doers of the Torah" (and bear in mind the "vain" or "empty" man who opposed faith and works in James 2:20):

"Interpreted, this concerns the Spouter of Lies who led many astray that he might build his city of vanity with blood and raise a congregation on deceit, causing many thereby to perform a service of vanity for the sake of its glory, and to be pregnant with [works] of deceit, that their labour [amal] might be for nothing and that they might be punished with fire who vilified and outraged the elect of God."

Maybe this too is a coincidence, but again, the context is the new covenant in a place called Damascus and being a "doer of the Torah" (an expression that, again, as far as I can tell so far, only James and Paul use in the NT).

And the "that they might be punished with fire" part (and others like it, such as "the anger of God was kindled against" them in CD 1-2) reminds me of the treatment Paul receives in Acts 21:27-32:
When the seven days were nearly over, some Jews from the province of Asia saw Paul at the temple. They stirred up the whole crowd and seized him, shouting, “Fellow Israelites, help us! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our people and our law and this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place.”(They had previously seen Trophimus the Ephesian in the city with Paul and assumed that Paul had brought him into the temple.)

The whole city was aroused, and the people came running from all directions. Seizing Paul, they dragged him from the temple, and immediately the gates were shut. While they were trying to kill him, news reached the commander of the Roman troops that the whole city of Jerusalem was in an uproar. He at once took some officers and soldiers and ran down to the crowd. When the rioters saw the commander and his soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.
And Acts 22:22:
The crowd listened to Paul until he said this. Then they raised their voices and shouted, “Rid the earth of him! He’s not fit to live!”
And Acts 23:12-14:
The next morning some Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul. More than forty men were involved in this plot. They went to the chief priests and the elders and said, “We have taken a solemn oath not to eat anything until we have killed Paul.
So this too fits the context of the above passage about the Spouter of Lies. And defiling the Temple is one of "three nets of Belial" mentioned in the Damascus Document (a name that Paul uses in 2 Cor. 6:15 when he asks, "What accord has Christ with Belial?"), and this is another concern of the rioters who tried to kill Paul ("he has brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place").
You know in spite of all you gained, you still have to stand out in the pouring rain.

I guess it depends on who you ask. James 2:8-11 says:

"If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, 'Love your neighbor as yourself,' you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. For he who said, 'You shall not commit adultery,' also said, 'You shall not murder.' And in Gal. 2:11-13, Paul says:

"When Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. For before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group. The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray."

But the Letter of James is addressed to Jews (or "To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations"), and the "certain men ... from James ... who belonged to the circumcision group" seem to only be concerned about Jews, even if Barnabas was also "led astray" by them. And in Gal. 2:9 says, "James, Cephas and John ... agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised."

The Habakkuk Pesher also says that Jews who observe the Torah will be saved (in the "amal" passage):

"Its interpretation concerns all Doers of the Torah in the House of Judah, whom God will save from the House of Judgment because of their works [amal] and faith in the Righteous Teacher."

And James 4:11 says:

"Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge."

And James 1:23 and 1:25 say:

"For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror."

"But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing."

But the DSS (like Christianity) accepted converts. As the Damascus Document puts it:

"But when the period corresponding to the number of these years is complete, there will no longer be any joining with the house of Judah but rather each one standing up on his (own) watchtower."

And:

"...a Book of Remembrance was written before Him for God-Fearers and for those considering His name, until God shall reveal salvation [yesha] and justification to those fearing His Name."

As Wikipedia puts it:

"A God-fearer or Godfearer was a member of a class of non-Jewish (gentile) sympathizers to Second Temple Judaism mentioned in the Christian New Testament and other contemporary sources such as synagogue inscriptions in diaspora Hellenistic Judaism."

Acts 13:16: "So Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said: 'Men of Israel and you who fear God, listen.'"

Acts 13:26: "“Fellow children of Abraham and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent."

But the window was closing ("But when the period corresponding to the number of these years is complete, there will no longer be any joining with the house of Judah"). Gentiles could join the "House of Judah" in the DSS, but they were expected to do the Torah in order to be saved. ""Its interpretation concerns all Doers of the Torah in the House of Judah, whom God will save from the House of Judgment because of their works and faith in the Righteous Teacher."

"The general practice in Greek is that the article is omitted with the names of persons except (a) in referring to a person already named in the context without the article (here 'ο = 'the said'); (b) to a person who is present and is pointed to;
(c) to a particularly famous person..

"Aristotle's practice agrees with this in general. In Met.A there are fifty references to philosophers and poets without the article, and two with it.. (both explicable by (a) above)...In the Rhetoric historical characters are mentioned at least 234 times without the article, and there are (as far as I know) only twenty passages (other than those explicable by Fitzgerald's canon) in which they occur with the article; some of these are explicable by (a) above, and the rest probably by (c). On the other hand, Σωκρατης occurs in Aristotle's genuine works 19 times without the article and 22 times with it. This at once suggests that there is some special reason for the use of the article with this name, and the reason which naturally presents itself is that Socrates is both a historical character and a character in Plato's dialogues.... A quick scan of all of Bezae via viewtopic.php?p=148683#p148683 teaches me that "the IhS" as well as "the XRS" is the default there, for the gospels. Even John 18-19 which suddenly reverts to IS / XS uses the definite article by default.
6 κς there AFAICC, likewise, and no difference for Acts - which is not Pauline of course but hey

What I know from Germans is that the definite article will be included for persons in order to convey intimacy: if I talk to you about "die Brigitte" then we certainly both know her, and even have a relationship with her (which could be any really, e.g. that of a neighbour, colleague at work, etc). She certainly would be well known to both of us.
But most importantly I would explicitly use the definite article in order to distinguish between that and just "Brigitte"

Always a pleasure to see your posts. My Greek proficiency has been declining along with my health, so I would have to sit and absorb what you had conveyed.

IIRC, almost all cases of Kurios, when it unambiguously refers to the God of the Judeans, is anarthrous, like it is God's actual name. YHVH is circumlocuted into Kurios. When referring to Jesus Christ, there is a definite article, "the" Lord (Jesus/Christ). It seemed to me, at the time, that this use of a written definite article signified something special. Still, I would think Paul should have referred to his human lord (patron) at least once in a while.

There was also the other side of the coin, where a written definite article is used when referring to "the" God of the Judeans. When God is mentioned in connection with Christ passages it is anarthrous, like the general concept of divinity is being referred to. It is almost the opposite to the Kurios oddity.

Carlson's critical texts of Galatians 1:3 reads, not "God our Father" but rather, "our Lord Jesus Christ":

In his discussion he writes the following, which pertains to the use of the article with "Lord":

"Bernhard Weiss asserts that Paul never uses the pronoun ἡμῶν with an anarthrous κύριος. Although Weiss does not list the instances behind his observation, it nonetheless holds for dozens of instances throughout both the undisputed and disputed Pauline epistles, without a single counter-example in the Nestle-Aland text or corresponding apparatus. Somewhat complicating the force of his observation, however, is that Paul also routinely omits the article with κύριος when it is the second element of a compound joined by καί with θεός (with or without the article) as the first element, especially in the greeting formula.Thus, there is a question of deciding which tendency in Paul’s writing should dominate the other when ἡμῶν is used with κύριος as the second element of a compound with θεός."

That seems to be the rule, 666 results for the NT (yup!), Just a few exceptions spotted in Matthew. However:

Ἐὰν δὲ εἴπῃ ὁ κακὸς δοῦλος ἐκεῖνος ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ· χρονίζει μου ὁ κύριος,

Matt 24:50
The master of that servant will come on a day he does not anticipate and at an hour he does not expect.
ἥξει ὁ κύριος τοῦ δούλου ἐκείνου ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ οὐ προσδοκᾷ καὶ ἐν ὥρᾳ ᾗ οὐ γινώσκει,

Matt 25:11
Later vvv, the other virgins arrived and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open [the door] for us!’
ὕστερον δὲ ἔρχονται καὶ αἱ λοιπαὶ παρθένοι λέγουσαι· κύριε κύριε, ἄνοιξον ἡμῖν.

Matt 25:18
But the [servant] who had received the one [talent] went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master’s money.
ὁ δὲ τὸ ἓν λαβὼν ἀπελθὼν ὤρυξεν γῆν καὶ ἔκρυψεν τὸ ἀργύριον τοῦ κύριου αὐτοῦ.

Matt 25:19
After a long time, the master of those servants returned to settle accounts with them.
μετὰ δὲ πολὺν χρόνον ἔρχεται ὁ κύριος τῶν δούλων ἐκείνων καὶ συναίρει λόγον μετ᾽ αὐτῶν.

Matt 25:20
The [servant] who had received the five talents came [and] presented five more. ‘master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me {with} five talents. See, I have gained five more.’
καὶ προσελθὼν ὁ τὰ πέντε τάλαντα λαβὼν προσήνεγκεν ἄλλα πέντε τάλαντα λέγων· κύριε, πέντε τάλαντά μοι παρέδωκας· ἴδε ἄλλα πέντε τάλαντα ἐκέρδησα.

Matt 25:21
His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you {in charge} of many things. Enter into the joy of your master!’
ἔφη αὐτῷ ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ· εὖ, δοῦλε ἀγαθὲ καὶ πιστέ, ἐπὶ ὀλίγα ἦς πιστός, ἐπὶ πολλῶν σε καταστήσω. εἴσελθε εἰς τὴν χαρὰν τοῦ κύριου σου.

Matt 25:22
The [servant] [who had received] the two talents also came [and] said, ‘master, you entrusted me {with} two talents. See, I have gained two more.’
Προσελθὼν δὲ καὶ ὁ τὰ δύο τάλαντα εἶπεν· κύριε, δύο τάλαντά μοι παρέδωκας· ἴδε ἄλλα δύο τάλαντα ἐκέρδησα.

Matt 25:23

προσελθὼν δὲ καὶ ὁ τὸ ἓν τάλαντον εἰληφὼς εἶπεν· κύριε, ἔγνων σε ὅτι σκληρὸς εἶ ἄνθρωπος θερίζων ὅπου οὐκ ἔσπειρας καὶ συνάγων ὅθεν οὐ διεσκόρπισας·

Matt 25:26
‘You wicked, lazy servant!’ replied his master. ‘You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed.
ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ εἶπεν αὐτῷ· πονηρὲ δοῦλε καὶ ὀκνηρέ, ᾔδεις ὅτι θερίζω ὅπου οὐκ ἔσπειρα καὶ συνάγω ὅθεν οὐ διεσκόρπισα;

Matt 25:37
Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed [You] , or thirsty and give [You] something to drink?
Τότε ἀποκριθήσονται αὐτῷ οἱ δίκαιοι λέγοντες· κύριε, πότε σε εἴδομεν πεινῶντα καὶ ἐθρέψαμεν ἢ διψῶντα καὶ ἐποτίσαμεν;

Matt 25:44
And they too will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’
Τότε ἀποκριθήσονται καὶ αὐτοὶ λέγοντες· κύριε, πότε σε εἴδομεν πεινῶντα ἢ διψῶντα ἢ ξένον ἢ γυμνὸν ἢ ἀσθενῆ ἢ ἐν φυλακῇ καὶ οὐ διηκονήσαμέν σοι;

Matt 26:22
They were deeply grieved [and] began to ask Him one after another, “Surely not I, Lord?”
καὶ λυπούμενοι σφόδρα ἤρξαντο λέγειν αὐτῷ εἷς ἕκαστος· μήτι ἐγώ εἰμι, κύριε;

Matt 27:10
and they gave them for the potter’s field, as [the] Lord had commanded me.”
καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐτὰ εἰς τὸν ἀγρὸν τοῦ κεραμέως, καθὰ συνέταξέν μοι κύριος.

Matt 27:63
Sir,” they said, “we remember that while He was alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’
λέγοντες· κύριε, ἐμνήσθημεν ὅτι ἐκεῖνος ὁ πλάνος εἶπεν ἔτι ζῶν· μετὰ τρεῖς ἡμέρας ἐγείρομαι.

Matt 28:2
Suddenly there was a great earthquake, for an angel of [the] Lord descended from heaven, rolled away the stone, and sat on it.
καὶ ἰδοὺ σεισμὸς ἐγένετο μέγας· ἄγγελος γὰρ κύριου καταβὰς ἐξ οὐρανοῦ καὶ προσελθὼν ἀπεκύλισε τὸν λίθον καὶ ἐκάθητο ἐπάνω αὐτοῦ.

Mark 1:3
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for [the] Lord, make straight paths for Him.’”
φωνὴ βοῶντος ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἑτοιμάσατε τὴν ὁδὸν κύριου, εὐθείας ποιεῖτε τὰς τρίβους αὐτοῦ.

Mark 2:28
Therefore, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
ὥστε κύριός ἐστιν ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου καὶ τοῦ σαββάτου.

Mark 5:19
But [Jesus] would not allow him. “Go home to your own [people] ,” He said, “and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy He has shown you.”
καὶ οὐκ ἀφῆκεν αὐτόν, ἀλλὰ λέγει αὐτῷ· ὕπαγε εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου πρὸς τοὺς σοὺς καὶ ἀπάγγειλον αὐτοῖς ὅσα ὁ κύριός σοι πεποίηκεν καὶ ἠλέησέν σε.

Mark 7:28
“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
ἡ δὲ ἀπεκρίθη καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· ναὶ κύριε, καὶ τὰ κυνάρια ὑποκάτω τῆς τραπέζης ἐσθίουσιν ἀπὸ τῶν ψιχίων τῶν παιδίων.

Mark 11:3
If anyone asks, ‘Why are you doing this?’ tell [him] , ‘The Lord needs it and will return it shortly.’”
καὶ ἐάν τις ὑμῖν εἴπῃ· τί ποιεῖτε τοῦτο; εἴπατε ὅτι ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ χρείαν ἔχει, καὶ εὐθὺς αὐτὸν ἀποστέλλει πάλιν ὧδε.

Mark 11:9
The [ones who] went ahead and those who followed were shouting: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is He [who] comes in [the] name of [the] Lord!”
καὶ οἱ προάγοντες καὶ οἱ ἀκολουθοῦντες ἔκραζον· ὡσαννά, εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι κύριου,

Mark 12:9
What then {will} the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and kill [those] tenants, and will give the vineyard to others.
τί οὖν ποιήσει ὁ κύριος τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος; ἐλεύσεται καὶ ἀπολέσει τοὺς γεωργοὺς καὶ δώσει τὸν ἀμπελῶνα ἄλλοις.

Mark 12:11
This is from [the] Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?”
παρὰ κύριου ἐγένετο αὕτη, καὶ ἔστιν θαυμαστὴ ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς ἡμῶν;

Mark 12:29
Jesus replied, “This is the most important: ‘Hear O Israel, [the] Lord our God, [the] Lord is One.
ἀπεκρίθη ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὅτι πρώτη ἐστιν· ἄκουε Ἰσραήλ, κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν κύριος εἷς ἐστίν·

Mark 12:30
Love [the] Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
καὶ ἀγαπήσεις κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς διανοίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ἰσχύος σου. αὕτη πρώτη ἐντολή.

Mark 12:36
Speaking by the Holy Spirit, David himself declared: ‘ [The] Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet.”’
αὐτὸς Δαυεὶδ εἶπεν ἐν τῷ πνεύματι τῷ ἁγίῳ· εἶπεν ὁ κύριος τῷ κύριῳ μου· κάθου ἐκ δεξιῶν μου ἕως ἂν θῶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου ὑποπόδιον τῶν ποδῶν σου.

Mark 12:37
David himself calls Him Lord. So how can He be [David’s] son?” And the large crowd listened to Him with delight.
αὐτὸς Δαυεὶδ λέγει αὐτὸν κύριον, καὶ πόθεν αὐτοῦ ἐστιν υἱός; καὶ ὁ πολὺς ὄχλος ἤκουεν αὐτοῦ ἡδέως.

Mark 13:20
If [the] Lord had not cut short those days, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom He has chosen, He has shortened [them] .
καὶ εἰ μὴ κύριος ἐκολόβωσεν τὰς ἡμέρας, οὐκ ἂν ἐσώθη πᾶσα σάρξ· ἀλλὰ διὰ τοὺς ἐκλεκτοὺς οὓς ἐξελέξατο ἐκολόβωσεν τὰς ἡμέρας.

Mark 13:35
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know when the master of the house will return— whether in the evening, at midnight, when the rooster crows, or in the morning.
γρηγορεῖτε οὖν· οὐκ οἴδατε γὰρ πότε ὁ κύριος τῆς οἰκίας ἔρχεται ἢ ὀψὲ ἢ μεσονύκτιον ἢ ἀλεκτοροφωνίας ἢ πρωΐ·

Mark 16:19
After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at [the] right hand of God.
Ὁ μὲν οὖν κύριος Ἰησοῦς μετὰ τὸ λαλῆσαι αὐτοῖς ἀνελήμφθη εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ θεοῦ.

Mark 16:20
And they went out [and] preached everywhere, [and] the Lord worked through [them] , confirming [His] word by the signs that accompanied [it] .
ἐκεῖνοι δὲ ἐξελθόντες ἐκήρυξαν πανταχοῦ τοῦ κύριου συνεργοῦντος καὶ τὸν λόγον βεβαιοῦντος διὰ τῶν ἐπακολουθούντων σημείων. ἀμήν.

Luke 1:6
Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and decrees of the Lord.
Ἦσαν δὲ δίκαιοι ἀμφότεροι ἐναντίον τοῦ θεοῦ πορευόμενοι ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ἐντολαῖς καὶ δικαιώμασιν τοῦ κύριου ἄμεμπτοι.

Luke 1:9
he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to enter the temple of the Lord [and] burn incense.
κατὰ τὸ ἔθος τῆς ἱερατείας ἔλαχε τοῦ θυμιᾶσαι εἰσελθὼν εἰς τὸν ναὸν τοῦ κύριου·

Luke 1:11
Just then, an angel of [the] Lord appeared to [Zechariah] , standing at [the] right side of the altar of the incense.
Ὤφθη δὲ αὐτῷ ἄγγελος κύριου ἑστὼς ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τοῦ θυμιάματος·

Luke 1:15
for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He shall never take wine [or] strong drink, and he will be filled [with the] Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb.
ἔσται γὰρ μέγας ἐνώπιον κύριου, καὶ οἶνον καὶ σίκερα οὐ μὴ πίῃ, καὶ πνεύματος ἁγίου πλησθήσεται ἔτι ἐκ κοιλίας μητρὸς αὐτοῦ.

Luke 1:16
Many of the sons of Israel he will turn back to [the] Lord their God.
καὶ πολλοὺς τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἐπιστρέψει ἐπὶ κύριον τὸν θεὸν αὐτῶν,

Luke 1:17
And he will go on before [the Lord] in [the] spirit and power of Elijah, to turn [the] hearts of [the] fathers to [their] children, and [the] disobedient to [the] wisdom of [the] righteous— to make ready a people prepared for [the] Lord.”
καὶ αὐτὸς προελεύσεται ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ἐν πνεύματι καὶ δυνάμει Ἠλεία ἐπιστρέψαι καρδίας πατέρων ἐπὶ τέκνα καὶ ἀπειθεῖς ἐν φρονήσει δικαίων, ἑτοιμάσαι κύριῳ λαὸν κατεσκευασμένον.

Luke 1:25
“The Lord has done [this] for me. In [these] days He has shown me favor and taken away my disgrace among the people.”
ὅτι οὕτως μοι πεποίηκεν κύριος ἐν ἡμέραις αἷς ἐπεῖδεν ἀφελεῖν ὄνειδός μου ἐν ἀνθρώποις.

Luke 1:28
[The angel] appeared to her [and] said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord [is] with you.”
Καὶ εἰσελθὼν πρὸς αὐτὴν εἶπεν· χαῖρε, κεχαριτωμένη· ὁ κύριος μετὰ σοῦ.

Luke 1:32
He will be great and will be called [the] Son of [the] Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David,

Luke 1:38
“ [ I am] the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her.

Luke 1:43
And why am I so [honored] , that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
καὶ πόθεν μοι τοῦτο ἵνα ἔλθῃ ἡ μήτηρ τοῦ κύριου μου πρὸς ἐμέ;

Luke 1:45
Blessed [is] she who has believed that [the] Lord’s word to her will be fulfilled.”
καὶ μακαρία ἡ πιστεύσασα ὅτι ἔσται τελείωσις τοῖς λελαλημένοις αὐτῇ παρὰ κύριου.

Luke 1:46
Then Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord,
Καὶ εἶπεν Μαριάμ· μεγαλύνει ἡ ψυχή μου τὸν κύριον,

Luke 1:58
Her neighbors and relatives heard that [the] Lord had shown her great mercy, and they rejoiced with her.
καὶ ἤκουσαν οἱ περίοικοι καὶ οἱ συγγενεῖς αὐτῆς ὅτι ἐμεγάλυνεν κύριος τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτῆς, καὶ συνέχαιρον αὐτῇ.

Luke 1:66
And all who heard [this] wondered in their hearts [and] asked, “What then {will} this child become?” For the Lord’s hand was with him.
καὶ ἔθεντο πάντες οἱ ἀκούσαντες ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτῶν λέγοντες· τί ἄρα τὸ παιδίον τοῦτο ἔσται; καὶ γὰρ χεὶρ κύριου ἦν μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ.

Luke 1:68
“Blessed be [the] Lord, the God of Israel, because He has visited and redeemed His people.
εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὁ θεὸς τοῦ Ἰσραήλ, ὅτι ἐπεσκέψατο καὶ ἐποίησεν λύτρωσιν τῷ λαῷ αὐτοῦ,

Luke 1:76
And you, child, will be called a prophet of [the] Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways,
Καὶ σὺ δέ, παιδίον, προφήτης ὑψίστου κληθήσῃ· προπορεύσῃ γὰρ ἐνώπιον κύριου ἑτοιμάσαι ὁδοὺς αὐτοῦ,

Luke 2:9
Just then, an angel of [the] Lord stood before them, and [the] glory of [the] Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
καὶ ἄγγελος κύριου ἐπέστη αὐτοῖς, καὶ δόξα κύριου περιέλαμψεν αὐτούς, καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν φόβον μέγαν.

Luke 2:11
Today in [the] City of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ [the] Lord!
ὅτι ἐτέχθη ὑμῖν σήμερον σωτὴρ ὅς ἐστιν χριστὸς κύριος ἐν πόλει Δαυείδ.

Luke 2:15
When the angels had left them [and gone] into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this [thing] that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”

Luke 2:22
And when the time of purification according to the Law of Moses was complete, [His parents] brought Him to Jerusalem to present [Him] to the Lord
καὶ ὅτε ἐπλήσθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ αὐτῶν κατὰ τὸν νόμον Μωϋσέως, ἀνήγαγον αὐτὸν εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα παραστῆσαι τῷ κύρι

Luke 2:23
(as it is written in [the] Law of [the] Lord: “Every firstborn male shall be consecrated to the Lord” ),
καθὼς γέγραπται ἐν νόμῳ κύριου ὅτι πᾶν ἄρσεν διανοῖγον μήτραν ἅγιον τῷ κύριῳ κληθήσεται·

Luke 2:24
and to offer [the] sacrifice specified in the Law of [the] Lord: “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”
καὶ τοῦ δοῦναι θυσίαν κατὰ τὸ εἰρημένον ἐν τῷ νόμῳ κύριου· ζεῦγος τρυγόνων ἢ δύο νοσσοὺς περιστερῶν.

Luke 2:26
The Holy Spirit had revealed to him [that he would] not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
καὶ ἦν αὐτῷ κεχρηματισμένον ὑπὸ τοῦ πνεύματος τοῦ ἁγίου μὴ ἰδεῖν θάνατον πρὶν ἂν ἴδῃ τὸν χριστὸν κύριου

Luke 2:39
When [Jesus’ parents] had done everything required by the Law of [the] Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their [own] town of Nazareth.
Καὶ ὡς ἐτέλεσαν πάντα τὰ κατὰ τὸν νόμον κύριου, ἐπέστρεψαν εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν εἰς πόλιν ἑαυτῶν Ναζαρέθ.

Luke 3:4

Luke 4:8
But Jesus replied, “It is written: ‘Worship [the] Lord your God and serve Him only.’”

Luke 4:12
But Jesus declared, “It [also] says, ‘Do not put [the] Lord your God {to the test} .’”
Καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὅτι εἴρηται· οὐκ ἐκπειράσεις κύριον τὸν θεόν σου.

Luke 4:18
“ [The] Spirit of [the] Lord [is] on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to [the] poor. He has sent Me to proclaim deliverance to [the] captives and recovery of sight to [the] blind, to release [the] oppressed,
πνεῦμα κύριου ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ, οὗ εἵνεκεν ἔχρισέν με εὐαγγελίσασθαι πτωχοῖς, ἀπέσταλκέν με κηρύξαι αἰχμαλώτοις ἄφεσιν καὶ τυφλοῖς ἀνάβλεψιν, ἀποστεῖλαι τεθραυσμένους ἐν ἀφέσει,

Luke 4:19
to proclaim [the] year of [the] Lord’s favor.”
κηρύξαι ἐνιαυτὸν κύριου δεκτόν.

Luke 5:8
When Simon Peter saw [this] , he fell at Jesus’ knees. “Go away from me, Lord,” he said, “for I am a sinful man.”
Ἰδὼν δὲ Σίμων Πέτρος προσέπεσεν τοῖς γόνασιν Ἰησοῦ λέγων· ἔξελθε ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ, ὅτι ἀνὴρ ἁμαρτωλός εἰμι, κύριε.

Luke 5:12
While [Jesus] was in one of the towns, a man [came along] [who was] covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell facedown [and] begged Him, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν ἐν μιᾷ τῶν πόλεων καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ πλήρης λέπρας· καὶ ἰδὼν τὸν Ἰησοῦν, πεσὼν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ἐδεήθη αὐτοῦ λέγων· κύριε, ἐὰν θέλῃς, δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι.

Luke 5:17
One day [Jesus] was teaching, and [the] Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting [there] . [People] had come from Jerusalem and from every village of Galilee and Judea, and [the] power of [the] Lord was [present] for Him to heal [the sick] .

Luke 6:5
Then [Jesus] declared, “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”
καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· κύριός ἐστιν τοῦ σαββάτου ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου.

Luke 6:46
Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ [but] not do what I say?
τί δέ με καλεῖτε· κύριε κύριε, καὶ οὐ ποιεῖτε ἃ λέγω;

Luke 7:6
So Jesus went with them. But when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends with the message: “Lord, {do} not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy to have You come under my roof.
Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἐπορεύετο σὺν αὐτοῖς. ἤδη δὲ αὐτοῦ οὐ μακρὰν ἀπέχοντος ἀπὸ τῆς οἰκίας ἔπεμψεν φίλους ὁ ἑκατοντάρχης λέγων αὐτῷ· κύριε, μὴ σκύλλου· οὐ γὰρ ἱκανός εἰμι ἵνα ὑπὸ τὴν στέγην μου εἰσέλθῃς,

Luke 7:13
When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said, “ {Do} not weep.”
καὶ ἰδὼν αὐτὴν ὁ κύριος ἐσπλαγχνίσθη ἐπ᾽ αὐτῇ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ· μὴ κλαῖε.

Luke 7:19
So John called two of his disciples [and] sent [them] to ask the Lord, “Are You the One who was to come, or should we look for someone else?”
ἔπεμψεν πρὸς τὸν κύριον λέγων· σὺ εἶ ὁ ἐρχόμενος, ἢ ἕτερον προσδοκῶμεν;

Luke 9:54
When the disciples James and John saw [this] , they asked, “Lord, do You want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them?”
ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ μαθηταὶ Ἰάκωβος καὶ Ἰωάννης εἶπαν· κύριε, θέλεις εἴπωμεν πῦρ καταβῆναι ἀπὸ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἀναλῶσαι αὐτούς;

Luke 9:59
Then He said to another [man] , “Follow Me.” [The man] replied, “Lord, first let me go [and] bury my father.”
Εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς ἕτερον· ἀκολούθει μοι. ὁ δὲ εἶπεν· κύριε, ἐπίτρεψόν μοι πρῶτον ἀπελθόντι θάψαι τὸν πατέρα μου.

Luke 9:61
Still another said, “I will follow You, Lord; but first let me bid farewell to my family.”
Εἶπεν δὲ καὶ ἕτερος· ἀκολουθήσω σοι, κύριε· πρῶτον δὲ ἐπίτρεψόν μοι ἀποτάξασθαι τοῖς εἰς τὸν οἶκόν μου.

Luke 10:1
After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place He was about to visit.
Μετὰ δὲ ταῦτα ἀνέδειξεν ὁ κύριος ἑτέρους ἑβδομήκοντα καὶ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς ἀνὰ δύο πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ εἰς πᾶσαν πόλιν καὶ τόπον οὗ ἤμελλεν αὐτὸς ἔρχεσθαι.

Luke 10:2
And He told them, “The harvest [is] plentiful, but the workers [are] few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.
ἔλεγεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτούς· ὁ μὲν θερισμὸς πολύς, οἱ δὲ ἐργάται ὀλίγοι· δεήθητε οὖν τοῦ κύριου τοῦ θερισμοῦ ὅπως ἐργάτας ἐκβάλῃ εἰς τὸν θερισμὸν αὐτοῦ.

Luke 10:17
The seventy-two returned with joy [and] said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name.”
Ὑπέστρεψαν δὲ οἱ ἑβδομήκοντα μετὰ χαρᾶς λέγοντες· κύριε, καὶ τὰ δαιμόνια ὑποτάσσεται ἡμῖν ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου.

Luke 10:21
At that time, [Jesus] rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from [the] wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight.
Ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ὥρᾳ ἠγαλλιάσατο τῷ πνεύματι τῷ ἁγίῳ καὶ εἶπεν· ἐξομολογοῦμαί σοι, πάτερ, κύριε τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅτι ἀπέκρυψας ταῦτα ἀπὸ σοφῶν καὶ συνετῶν καὶ ἀπεκάλυψας αὐτὰ νηπίοις. ναὶ ὁ πατήρ, ὅτι οὕτως εὐδοκία ἐγένετο ἔμπροσθέν σου.

Luke 10:27
He answered, “‘Love [the] Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and ‘ [Love] your neighbor as yourself.’”
Ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν· ἀγαπήσεις κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ ψυχῇ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ ἰσχύϊ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ διανοίᾳ σου, καὶ τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν.

Luke 10:39
She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to His message.
καὶ τῇδε ἦν ἀδελφὴ καλουμένη Μαριάμ. καὶ παρακαθεσθεῖσα πρὸς τοὺς πόδας τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ἤκουεν τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ.

Luke 10:40
But Martha was distracted by all the preparations [to be made] . She came to [Jesus] [and] said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me!”
ἡ δὲ Μάρθα περιεσπᾶτο περὶ πολλὴν διακονίαν. ἐπιστᾶσα δὲ εἶπεν· κύριε, οὐ μέλει σοι ὅτι ἡ ἀδελφή μου μόνην με κατέλειπεν διακονεῖν; εἰπὲ οὖν αὐτῇ ἵνα μοι συναντιλάβηται.

Luke 10:41
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord replied, “you are worried and upset about many things.
Ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ εἶπεν αὐτῇ ὁ κύριος· Μάρθα Μάρθα, μεριμνᾷς καὶ θορυβάζῃ περὶ πολλά,

Luke 11:1
[One day] in a place where [Jesus] had just finished praying, one of His disciples requested, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”
Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν ἐν τόπῳ τινὶ προσευχόμενον, ὡς ἐπαύσατο, εἶπεν τις τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ πρὸς αὐτόν· κύριε, δίδαξον ἡμᾶς προσεύχεσθαι καθὼς καὶ Ἰωάννης ἐδίδαξεν τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ.

Luke 11:39
“Now then,” said the Lord, “you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.
Εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος πρὸς αὐτόν· νῦν ὑμεῖς οἱ Φαρισαῖοι τὸ ἔξωθεν τοῦ ποτηρίου καὶ τοῦ πίνακος καθαρίζετε, τὸ δὲ ἔσωθεν ὑμῶν γέμει ἁρπαγῆς καὶ πονηρίας.

Luke 12:36
Then you [ will be ] like [servants] waiting for their master to return from the wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks, they can open [the door] for him at once.
καὶ ὑμεῖς ὅμοιοι ἀνθρώποις προσδεχομένοις τὸν κύριον ἑαυτῶν πότε ἀναλύσῃ ἐκ τῶν γάμων, ἵνα ἐλθόντος καὶ κρούσαντος εὐθέως ἀνοίξωσιν αὐτῷ.

Luke 12:37
Blessed [are] those servants whom the master finds on watch when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve and will have them recline at the table, and he [himself] will come [and] wait on them.
μακάριοι οἱ δοῦλοι ἐκεῖνοι οὓς ἐλθὼν ὁ κύριος εὑρήσει γρηγοροῦντας· ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι περιζώσεται καὶ ἀνακλινεῖ αὐτούς, καὶ παρελθὼν διακονήσει αὐτοῖς.

Luke 12:41
Lord,” said Peter, “are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?”
Εἶπεν δὲ ὁ Πέτρος· κύριε, πρὸς ἡμᾶς τὴν παραβολὴν ταύτην λέγεις ἢ καὶ πρὸς πάντας;

Luke 12:42
And the Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful [and] wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his [servants] to give [them] [their] portion at the proper time?
καὶ εἶπεν ὁ κύριος· τίς ἄρα ἐστὶν ὁ πιστὸς οἰκονόμος ὁ φρόνιμος ὃν καταστήσει ὁ κύριος ἐπὶ τῆς θεραπείας αὐτοῦ τοῦ διδόναι ἐν καιρῷ σιτομέτριον;

Luke 12:43
Blessed [is] that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.
μακάριος ὁ δοῦλος ἐκεῖνος ὃν ἐλθὼν ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ εὑρήσει οὕτως ποιοῦντα.

Luke 12:45
But suppose that servant says in his heart, ‘My master will be a long time in coming,’ and he begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk.
Ἐὰν δὲ εἴπῃ ὁ δοῦλος ἐκεῖνος ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ· χρονίζει ὁ κύριός μου ἔρχεσθαι, καὶ ἄρξηται τύπτειν τοὺς παῖδας καὶ τὰς παιδίσκας ἐσθίειν τε καὶ πίνειν καὶ μεθύσκεσθαι,

Luke 12:46
The master of that servant will come on a day he does not anticipate and at an hour he does not expect. Then He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
ἥξει ὁ κύριος τοῦ δούλου ἐκείνου ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ οὐ προσδοκᾷ καὶ ἐν ὥρᾳ ᾗ οὐ γεινώσκει καὶ διχοτομήσει αὐτὸν καὶ τὸ μέρος αὐτοῦ μετὰ τῶν ἀπίστων θήσει.

Luke 12:47
That servant who knows his master’s will [but] does not get ready [or] follow his instructions will be beaten with many [blows] .
Ἐκεῖνος δὲ ὁ δοῦλος ὁ γνοὺς τὸ θέλημα τοῦ κύριου αὐτοῦ καὶ μὴ ἑτοιμάσας ἢ ποιήσας πρὸς τὸ θέλημα αὐτοῦ δαρήσεται πολλάς.

Luke 13:8
Sir,’ [the man] replied, ‘leave it alone again this year, until I dig around it and fertilize [it] .
Ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς λέγει αὐτῷ· κύριε, ἄφες αὐτὴν καὶ τοῦτο τὸ ἔτος, ἕως ὅτου σκάψω περὶ αὐτὴν καὶ βάλω κόπρια·

Luke 13:15
“You hypocrites!” the Lord replied, “ {Does} not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it to water?
Ἀπεκρίθη δὲ αὐτῷ ὁ κύριος καὶ εἶπεν· ὑποκριταί, ἕκαστος ὑμῶν τῷ σαββάτῳ οὐ λύει τὸν βοῦν αὐτοῦ ἢ τὸν ὄνον ἀπὸ τῆς φάτνης, καὶ ἀπαγαγὼν ποτίζει;

Luke 13:23
Lord,” someone asked Him, “ [will] only a few [people] be saved?” [Jesus] answered,
Εἶπεν δέ τις αὐτῷ· κύριε, εἰ ὀλίγοι οἱ σωζόμενοι; ὁ δὲ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς·

Luke 13:25
After the master of the house gets up and shuts the door, you will stand outside knocking [and] saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ But he will reply, ‘I do not know where you are {from} .’
ἀφ᾽ οὗ ἂν ἐγερθῇ ὁ οἰκοδεσπότης καὶ ἀποκλείσῃ τὴν θύραν καὶ ἄρξησθε ἔξω ἑστάναι καὶ κρούειν τὴν θύραν λέγοντες· κύριε, ἄνοιξον ἡμῖν· καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ἐρεῖ ὑμῖν· οὐκ οἶδα ὑμᾶς πόθεν ἐστέ·

Luke 13:35
Look, your house is left to you desolate. And I tell you [that] you will not see Me {again} until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in [the] name of [the] Lord.’”
ἰδοὺ ἀφίεται ὑμῖν ὁ οἶκος ὑμῶν. λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν· οὐ μὴ ἴδητέ με ἕως εἴπητε· εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι κύριου.

Luke 14:21
The servant returned [and] reported all this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry [and] said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in the poor, [the] crippled, [the] blind, and [the] lame.’
καὶ παραγενόμενος ὁ δοῦλος ἀπήγγειλεν τῷ κύριῳ αὐτοῦ ταῦτα.
Τότε ὀργισθεὶς ὁ οἰκοδεσπότης εἶπεν τῷ δούλῳ αὐτοῦ· ἔξελθε ταχέως εἰς τὰς πλατείας καὶ ῥύμας τῆς πόλεως, καὶ τοὺς πτωχοὺς καὶ ἀναπείρους καὶ τυφλοὺς καὶ χωλοὺς εἰσάγαγε ὧδε.

Luke 14:22
Sir,’ the servant replied, ‘what you ordered has been done, and there is still room.’
καὶ εἶπεν ὁ δοῦλος· κύριε, γέγονεν ὃ ἐπέταξας, καὶ ἔτι τόπος ἐστίν.

Luke 14:23
[So] the master told [his] servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel [them] to come in, so that my house will be full.
καὶ εἶπεν ὁ κύριος πρὸς τὸν δοῦλον· ἔξελθε εἰς τὰς ὁδοὺς καὶ φραγμοὺς καὶ ἀνάγκασον εἰσελθεῖν ἵνα γεμισθῇ μου ὁ οἶκος.

Luke 16:3
The manager said to himself, ‘What shall I do, now that my master is taking away my [position] ? I am too weak to dig [and] too ashamed to beg.
εἶπεν δὲ ἐν ἑαυτῷ ὁ οἰκονόμος· τί ποιήσω, ὅτι ὁ κύριός μου ἀφαιρεῖται τὴν οἰκονομίαν ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ; σκάπτειν οὐκ ἰσχύω, ἐπαιτεῖν αἰσχύνομαι.

Luke 16:5
And he called in each one of his master’s debtors. ‘How much do you owe my master?’ he asked the first.
καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος ἕνα ἕκαστον τῶν χρεοφειλετῶν τοῦ κύριου ἑαυτοῦ ἔλεγεν τῷ πρώτῳ· πόσον ὀφείλεις τῷ κύριῳ μου;

Luke 16:8
The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the sons of this age are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than [are] the sons of light.
καὶ ἐπῄνεσεν ὁ κύριος τὸν οἰκονόμον τῆς ἀδικίας ὅτι φρονίμως ἐποίησεν, ὅτι οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ αἰῶνος τούτου φρονιμώτεροι ὑπὲρ τοὺς υἱοὺς τοῦ φωτὸς εἰς τὴν γενεὰν τὴν ἑαυτῶν εἰσιν.

Luke 16:13
No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to [the] one and despise the other. You cannot serve [both] God and money.”
Οὐδεὶς οἰκέτης δύναται δυσὶ κύριοις δουλεύειν· ἢ γὰρ τὸν ἕνα μεισήσει καὶ τὸν ἕτερον ἀγαπήσει, ἢ ἑνὸς ἀνθέξεται καὶ τοῦ ἑτέρου καταφρονήσει. οὐ δύνασθε θεῷ δουλεύειν καὶ μαμωνᾷ.

Luke 17:5
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
Καὶ εἶπαν οἱ ἀπόστολοι τῷ κύριῳ· πρόσθες ἡμῖν πίστιν.

Luke 17:6
And the Lord answered, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος· εἰ ἔχετε πίστιν ὡς κόκκον σινάπεως, ἐλέγετε ἂν τῇ συκαμίνῳ· ἐκριζώθητι καὶ φυτεύθητι ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ, καὶ ὑπήκουσεν ἂν ὑμῖν.

Luke 17:37
“Where, Lord?” they asked. [Jesus] answered, “Wherever [there is] a carcass, there the vultures will gather.”
Καὶ ἀποκριθέντες λέγουσιν αὐτῷ· ποῦ, κύριε; ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· ὅπου τὸ σῶμα, ἐκεῖ καὶ οἱ ἀετοὶ ἐπισυναχθήσονται.

Luke 18:6
And the Lord said, “Listen to [the] words of the unjust judge.
Εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος· ἀκούσατε τί ὁ κριτὴς τῆς ἀδικίας λέγει·

Luke 18:41
“What do you want Me to do for you?” “Lord,” he said, “let me see again.”
τί σοι θέλεις ποιήσω; ὁ δὲ εἶπεν· κύριε, ἵνα ἀναβλέψω.

Luke 19:8
But Zacchaeus stood up [and] said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, half of my possessions I give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone, I will repay [it] fourfold.”
Σταθεὶς δὲ Ζακχαῖος εἶπεν πρὸς τὸν κύριον· ἰδοὺ τὰ ἡμίσιά μου τῶν ὑπαρχόντων, κύριε, τοῖς πτωχοῖς δίδωμι· καὶ εἴ τινός τι ἐσυκοφάντησα, ἀποδίδωμι τετραπλοῦν.

Luke 19:16
The first [servant] came forward [and] said, ‘master, your mina has produced ten {more} minas.’
Παρεγένετο δὲ ὁ πρῶτος λέγων· κύριε, ἡ μνᾶ σου δέκα προσηργάσατο μνᾶς.

Luke 19:18
The second [servant] came [and] said, ‘master, your mina has made five minas.’
Καὶ ἦλθεν ὁ δεύτερος λέγων· ἡ μνᾶ σου, κύριε, ἐποίησεν πέντε μνᾶς.

Luke 19:20
Then another [servant] came [and] said, ‘master, here is your mina, which I have laid away in a piece of cloth.
Καὶ ὁ ἕτερος ἦλθεν λέγων· κύριε, ἰδοὺ ἡ μνᾶ σου ἣν εἶχον ἀποκειμένην ἐν σουδαρίῳ·

Luke 19:25
master,’ they said, ‘he [already] has ten!’
καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ· κύριε, ἔχει δέκα μνᾶς.

Luke 19:31
If anyone asks, ‘Why you are untying [it] ?’ tell [him] , ‘The Lord needs it.’”
καὶ ἐάν τις ὑμᾶς ἐρωτᾷ· διὰ τί λύετε; οὕτως ἐρεῖτε· ὅτι ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ χρείαν ἔχει.

Luke 19:33
As they were untying the colt, its owners asked, “Why are you untying the colt?”
λυόντων δὲ αὐτῶν τὸν πῶλον εἶπαν οἱ κύριοι αὐτοῦ πρὸς αὐτούς· τί λύετε τὸν πῶλον;

Luke 19:34
“The Lord needs it,” they answered.
οἱ δὲ εἶπαν · ὅτι ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ χρείαν ἔχει.

Luke 19:38
“Blessed is the King who comes in [the] name of [the] Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in [the] highest!”
λέγοντες· εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος βασιλεὺς ἐν ὀνόματι κύριου· ἐν οὐρανῷ εἰρήνη, καὶ δόξα ἐν ὑψίστοις.

Luke 20:13
‘What shall I do?’ asked the owner of the vineyard. ‘I will send my beloved son. Perhaps they will respect him.’
Εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος· τί ποιήσω; πέμψω τὸν υἱόν μου τὸν ἀγαπητόν· ἴσως τοῦτον ἐντραπήσονται.

Luke 20:15
So they threw him out of the vineyard [and] killed [him] . What then {will} the owner of the vineyard do to them?
καὶ ἐκβαλόντες αὐτὸν ἔξω τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος ἀπέκτειναν. τί οὖν ποιήσει αὐτοῖς ὁ κύριος τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος;

Luke 20:37
Even Moses demonstrates that the dead are raised, [ in the passage ] about the [ burning ] bush. For he calls [the] Lord ‘the God of Abraham, [the] God of Isaac, and [the] God of Jacob.’
ὅτι δὲ ἐγείρονται οἱ νεκροί, καὶ Μωϋσῆς ἐμήνυσεν ἐπὶ τῆς βάτου ὡς λέγει κύριον τὸν θεὸν Ἁβραὰμ καὶ θεὸν Ἰσαὰκ καὶ θεὸν Ἰακώβ.

Luke 20:42
For David himself says in [the] book of Psalms: ‘ [The] Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand
αὐτὸς γὰρ Δαυεὶδ λέγει ἐν βίβλῳ ψαλμῶν· εἶπεν ὁ κύριος τῷ κύριῳ μου· κάθου ἐκ δεξιῶν μου

Luke 20:44
So if David calls Him Lord, how can He be [David’s] son?”
Δαυεὶδ οὖν κύριον αὐτὸν καλεῖ, καὶ πῶς υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἐστιν;

Luke 22:31
Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat.
Εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος· Σίμων Σίμων, ἰδοὺ ὁ σατανᾶς ἐξῃτήσατο ὑμᾶς τοῦ σεινιάσαι ὡς τὸν σῖτον.

Luke 22:33
Lord,” said [Peter] , “I am ready to go with You even to prison and to death.”

Basically, the colours must match between English and Greek

John 13:25
Leaning back against Jesus, he asked, “Lord, who is it?”

Ἄγγελος δὲ κύριου ἐλάλησεν πρὸς Φίλιππον λέγων· ἀνάστηθι καὶ πορεύου κατὰ μεσημβρίαν ἐπὶ τὴν ὁδὸν τὴν καταβαίνουσαν ἀπὸ Ἱερουσαλὴμ εἰς Γάζαν· αὕτη ἐστὶν ἔρημος.

Acts 8:39
When they came up out of the water, [the] Spirit of [the] Lord carried Philip {away} , and the eunuch saw him no more, [but] went on his way rejoicing.
ὅτε δὲ ἀνέβησαν ἐκ τοῦ ὕδατος, πνεῦμα κύριου ἥρπασεν τὸν Φίλιππον, καὶ οὐκ εἶδεν αὐτὸν οὐκέτι ὁ εὐνοῦχος· ἐπορεύετο γὰρ τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ χαίρων.

Acts 9:1
Meanwhile, Saul {was} still breathing out threats of murder against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest
Ὁ δὲ Σαῦλος ἔτι ἐμπνέων ἀπειλῆς καὶ φόνου εἰς τοὺς μαθητὰς τοῦ κύριου, προσελθὼν τῷ ἀρχιερεῖ,

Acts 9:5
“Who are You, Lord?” [Saul] asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” [He replied] .
εἶπεν δέ· τίς εἶ, κύριε; ὁ δέ· ἐγώ εἰμι Ἰησοῦς ὃν σὺ διώκεις·

Acts 9:10
In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, “Ananias!” “Here I [am] , Lord,” he answered.
Ἦν δέ τις μαθητὴς ἐν Δαμασκῷ ὀνόματι Ἀνανίας, καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐν ὁράματι ὁ κύριος· Ἀνανία. ὁ δὲ εἶπεν· ἰδοὺ ἐγώ, κύριε.

Acts 9:11
“Get up!” the Lord [told] him. “Go to [the] house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for [a man from] Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying.
ὁ δὲ κύριος πρὸς αὐτόν· ἀναστὰς πορεύθητι ἐπὶ τὴν ῥύμην τὴν καλουμένην εὐθεῖαν καὶ ζήτησον ἐν οἰκίᾳ Ἰούδα Σαῦλον ὀνόματι Ταρσέα· ἰδοὺ γὰρ προσεύχεται

Acts 9:13
But Ananias answered, “Lord, many [people] have told me about this man [and] all [the] harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem.
Ἀπεκρίθη δὲ Ἀνανίας· κύριε, ἤκουσα ἀπὸ πολλῶν περὶ τοῦ ἀνδρὸς τούτου, ὅσα κακὰ τοῖς ἁγίοις σου ἐποίησεν ἐν Ἱερουσαλήμ·

Acts 9:15
“Go!” said the Lord. “ - This [man] is My chosen instrument to carry My name before the Gentiles and their kings, and [before the] people of Israel.
Εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος· πορεύου, ὅτι σκεῦος ἐκλογῆς ἐστίν μοι οὗτος τοῦ βαστάσαι τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐνώπιον ἐθνῶν τε καὶ βασιλέων υἱῶν τε Ἰσραήλ.

Acts 9:17
[So] Ananias went to the house, and [when] he arrived, he placed [his] hands on [Saul] . “Brother Saul,” he said, “the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road [as] you were coming [here] , has sent me so that you may see again and be filled [with the] Holy Spirit.”
Ἀπῆλθεν δὲ Ἀνανίας καὶ εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν, καὶ ἐπιθεὶς ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν τὰς χεῖρας εἶπεν· Σαοὺλ ἀδελφέ, ὁ κύριος ἀπέσταλκέν με, Ἰησοῦς ὁ ὀφθείς σοι ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ ᾗ ἤρχου, ὅπως ἀναβλέψῃς καὶ πλησθῇς πνεύματος ἁγίου.

Acts 9:27
Then Barnabas brought [him] to the apostles and described how [Saul] had seen the Lord, [who] spoke to him on the road [to Damascus] , and how [Saul] had spoken boldly in [that city] in the name of Jesus.
Βαρνάβας δὲ ἐπιλαβόμενος αὐτὸν ἤγαγεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀποστόλους καὶ διηγήσατο αὐτοῖς πῶς ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ εἶδεν τὸν κύριον καὶ ὅτι ἐλάλησεν αὐτῷ καὶ πῶς ἐν Δαμασκῷ ἐπαρρησιάσατο ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι τοῦ Ἰησοῦ.

Acts 9:28
[So] [Saul] stayed with them, moving about freely in Jerusalem [and] speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.
καὶ ἦν μετ᾽ αὐτῶν εἰσπορευόμενος καὶ ἐκπορευόμενος εἰς Ἱερουσαλήμ, παρρησιαζόμενος ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι τοῦ κύριου,

Acts 9:31
Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced [a time of] peace. It grew in strength and numbers, living in the fear of the Lord and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit.
Ἡ μὲν οὖν ἐκκλησία καθ᾽ ὅλης τῆς Ἰουδαίας καὶ Γαλιλαίας καὶ Σαμαρείας εἶχεν εἰρήνην, οἰκοδομουμένη καὶ πορευομένη τῷ φόβῳ τοῦ κύριου, καὶ τῇ παρακλήσει τοῦ ἁγίου πνεύματος ἐπληθύνετο.

Acts 9:35
and all who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him [and] turned to the Lord.
καὶ εἶδαν αὐτὸν πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες Λύδδα καὶ τὸν Σαρωνᾶ, οἵτινες ἐπέστρεψαν ἐπὶ τὸν κύριον.

Acts 9:42
[This] became known all over Joppa, and many [people] believed in the Lord.
γνωστὸν δὲ ἐγένετο καθ᾽ ὅλης τῆς Ἰόππης, καὶ ἐπίστευσαν πολλοὶ ἐπὶ τὸν κύριον.

Acts 10:4
[Cornelius] stared at him in fear and asked, “What is it, Lord?” [The angel] answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have ascended as a memorial [ offering ] before God.
ὁ δὲ ἀτενίσας αὐτῷ καὶ ἔμφοβος γενόμενος εἶπεν· τί ἐστιν, κύριε; εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ· αἱ προσευχαί σου καὶ αἱ ἐλεημοσύναι σου ἀνέβησαν εἰς μνημόσυνον ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ θεοῦ.

Acts 10:14
“No, Lord!” Peter answered. “ - I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”
ὁ δὲ Πέτρος εἶπεν· μηδαμῶς, κύριε· ὅτι οὐδέποτε ἔφαγον πᾶν κοινὸν καὶ ἀκάθαρτον.

Acts 10:33
So I sent for you immediately, and you were kind enough to come. Now then, we {are} all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has instructed you [to tell us] .”
ἐξαυτῆς οὖν ἔπεμψα πρός σε, σύ τε καλῶς ἐποίησας παραγενόμενος. νῦν οὖν πάντες ἡμεῖς ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ πάρεσμεν ἀκοῦσαι πάντα τὰ προστεταγμένα σοι ὑπὸ τοῦ κύριου.

Acts 10:36
He has sent [this] message to the people of Israel, proclaiming the gospel of peace through Jesus Christ, [who] is Lord of all.
τὸν λόγον ὃν ἀπέστειλεν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ εὐαγγελιζόμενος εἰρήνην διὰ Ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ, οὗτός ἐστιν πάντων κύριος,

Acts 11:8
‘No, Lord,’ I said, ‘for nothing impure or unclean has {ever} entered my mouth.’
εἶπον δέ· μηδαμῶς, κύριε· ὅτι κοινὸν ἢ ἀκάθαρτον οὐδέποτε εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὸ στόμα μου.

Acts 11:16
Then I remembered the word of the Lord, as He used to say, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with [the] Holy Spirit.’
ἐμνήσθην δὲ τοῦ ῥήματος τοῦ κύριου, ὡς ἔλεγεν· Ἰωάννης μὲν ἐβάπτισεν ὕδατι, ὑμεῖς δὲ βαπτισθήσεσθε ἐν πνεύματι ἁγίῳ.

Acts 11:17
So if God gave them the same gift as [He gave] us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder [the work of] God?”
εἰ οὖν τὴν ἴσην δωρεὰν ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς ὁ θεὸς ὡς καὶ ἡμῖν, πιστεύσασιν ἐπὶ τὸν κύριον Ἰησοῦν χριστόν, ἐγὼ τίς ἤμην δυνατὸς κωλῦσαι τὸν θεόν;

Acts 11:20
But some of them, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks as well, proclaiming the good news about the Lord Jesus.
Ἦσαν δέ τινες ἐξ αὐτῶν ἄνδρες Κύπριοι καὶ Κυρηναῖοι, οἵτινες ἐλθόντες εἰς Ἀντιόχειαν ἐλάλουν καὶ πρὸς τοὺς Ἑλληνιστὰς εὐαγγελιζόμενοι τὸν κύριον Ἰησοῦν.

Acts 11:21
[The] hand of [the] Lord was with them, and [a] great number [of people] believed [and] turned to the Lord.
καὶ ἦν χεὶρ κύριου μετ᾽ αὐτῶν, πολύς τε ἀριθμὸς ὁ πιστεύσας ἐπέστρεψεν ἐπὶ τὸν κύριον·

Acts 11:23
[When] he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to abide in the Lord with all their hearts.
ὃς παραγενόμενος καὶ ἰδὼν τὴν χάριν τοῦ θεοῦ ἐχάρη καὶ παρεκάλει πάντας τῇ προθέσει τῆς καρδίας προσμένειν τῷ κύριῳ·

Acts 11:24
[Barnabas] was a good man, full of [the] Holy Spirit and faith, and a great [number of people] were brought to the Lord.
ὅτι ἦν ἀνὴρ ἀγαθὸς καὶ πλήρης πνεύματος ἁγίου καὶ πίστεως. καὶ προσετέθη ὄχλος ἱκανὸς τῷ κύριῳ.

Acts 12:7
Suddenly an angel of [the] Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He tapped Peter on the side [and] woke him up, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off [his] wrists.
καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄγγελος κύριου ἐπέστη καὶ φῶς ἔλαμψεν ἐν τῷ οἰκήματι· πατάξας δὲ τὴν πλευρὰν τοῦ Πέτρου ἤγειρεν αὐτὸν λέγων· ἀνάστα ἐν τάχει. καὶ ἐξέπεσαν αὐτοῦ αἱ ἁλύσεις ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν.

Acts 12:11
Then Peter came to himself [and] said, “Now I know for sure that the Lord has sent His angel and rescued me from Herod’s grasp and [from] everything the Jewish people were anticipating.”
καὶ ὁ Πέτρος ἐν ἑαυτῷ γενόμενος εἶπεν· νῦν οἶδα ἀληθῶς ὅτι ἐξαπέστειλεν κύριος τὸν ἄγγελον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξείλατό με ἐκ χειρὸς Ἡρώδου καὶ πάσης τῆς προσδοκίας τοῦ λαοῦ τῶν Ἰουδαίων.

Acts 12:17
[Peter] motioned with [his] hand for silence, [and] he described how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. “Send word to James and to the brothers,” he said, and he left for another place.
κατασείσας δὲ αὐτοῖς τῇ χειρὶ σιγᾶν, διηγήσατο αὐτοῖς πῶς ὁ κύριος αὐτὸν ἐξήγαγεν ἐκ τῆς φυλακῆς· εἶπέν τε· ἀπαγγείλατε Ἰακώβῳ καὶ τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς ταῦτα. καὶ ἐξελθὼν ἐπορεύθη εἰς ἕτερον τόπον.

Acts 12:23
Immediately, because [Herod] did not give glory to God, an angel of [the] Lord struck him {down} , and he was eaten by worms [and] died.
παραχρῆμα δὲ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν ἄγγελος κύριου ἀνθ᾽ ὧν οὐκ ἔδωκεν τὴν δόξαν τῷ θεῷ, καὶ γενόμενος σκωληκόβρωτος ἐξέψυξεν.

Acts 13:2
[While] they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
λειτουργούντων δὲ αὐτῶν τῷ κύριῳ καὶ νηστευόντων εἶπεν τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον· ἀφορίσατε δή μοι τὸν Βαρνάβαν καὶ Σαῦλον εἰς τὸ ἔργον ὃ προσκέκλημαι αὐτούς.

Acts 13:10
and said, “O child of [the] devil [and] enemy of all righteousness! [You are] full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the straight ways of the Lord?
εἶπεν· ὦ πλήρης παντὸς δόλου καὶ πάσης ῥαδιουργίας, υἱὲ διαβόλου, ἐχθρὲ πάσης δικαιοσύνης, οὐ παύσῃ διαστρέφων τὰς ὁδοὺς κύριου τὰς εὐθείας;

Acts 13:11
Now look, [the] hand of the Lord [is] against you, and for a time you will be blind [and] unable to see the light of the sun.” Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead [him] by the hand.
καὶ νῦν ἰδοὺ χεὶρ κύριου ἐπὶ σέ, καὶ ἔσῃ τυφλὸς μὴ βλέπων τὸν ἥλιον ἄχρι καιροῦ. παραχρῆμα δὲ ἔπεσεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ἀχλὺς καὶ σκότος, καὶ περιάγων ἐζήτει χειραγωγούς.

Acts 13:12
[When] the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was astonished at the teaching about the Lord.
τότε ἰδὼν ὁ ἀνθύπατος τὸ γεγονὸς ἐπίστευσεν ἐκπλησσόμενος ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ τοῦ κύριου.

Acts 13:44
On the following Sabbath, nearly the whole city gathered to hear the word of [the] Lord.
τῷ δὲ ἐρχομένῳ σαββάτῳ σχεδὸν πᾶσα ἡ πόλις συνήχθη ἀκοῦσαι τὸν λόγον τοῦ κύριου.

Acts 13:47
For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have made you a light for [the] Gentiles, to bring salvation to [the] ends of the earth.’”
οὕτως γὰρ ἐντέταλται ἡμῖν ὁ κύριος· τέθεικά σε εἰς φῶς ἐθνῶν τοῦ εἶναί σε εἰς σωτηρίαν ἕως ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς.

Acts 13:48
[When] the Gentiles heard [this] , they rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord, and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.
Ἀκούοντα δὲ τὰ ἔθνη ἔχαιρον καὶ ἐδόξαζον τὸν λόγον τοῦ κύριου καὶ ἐπίστευσαν ὅσοι ἦσαν τεταγμένοι εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον.

Acts 13:49
And the word of the Lord spread throughout [that] region.
διεφέρετο δὲ ὁ λόγος τοῦ κύριου δι᾽ ὅλης τῆς χώρας.

Acts 14:3
So [Paul and Barnabas] spent considerable time {there} , speaking boldly for the Lord, who affirmed the message of His grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.
Ἱκανὸν μὲν οὖν χρόνον διέτριψαν παρρησιαζόμενοι ἐπὶ τῷ κύριῳ τῷ μαρτυροῦντι τῷ λόγῳ τῆς χάριτος αὐτοῦ, διδόντι σημεῖα καὶ τέρατα γίνεσθαι διὰ τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν.

Acts 14:23
[Paul and Barnabas] appointed elders for them in each church, praying [and] fasting as they entrusted them to the Lord, in whom they had believed.
χειροτονήσαντες δὲ αὐτοῖς κατ᾽ ἐκκλησίαν πρεσβυτέρους, προσευξάμενοι μετὰ νηστειῶν παρέθεντο αὐτοὺς τῷ κύριῳ εἰς ὃν πεπιστεύκεισαν.

Acts 15:11
On the contrary, we believe [it is] through the grace of [the] Lord Jesus [that] we are saved, just as they [are] .”
ἀλλὰ διὰ τῆς χάριτος τοῦ κύριου Ἰησοῦ πιστεύομεν σωθῆναι καθ᾽ ὃν τρόπον κἀκεῖνοι.

Acts 15:17
so that the remnant of men may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who bear My name, says [the] Lord who does these things
ὅπως ἂν ἐκζητήσωσιν οἱ κατάλοιποι τῶν ἀνθρώπων τὸν κύριον καὶ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη, ἐφ᾽ οὓς ἐπικέκληται τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς, λέγει κύριος ὁ ποιῶν ταῦτα

Acts 15:26
men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
ἀνθρώποις παραδεδωκόσι τὰς ψυχὰς αὐτῶν ὑπὲρ τοῦ ὀνόματος τοῦ κύριου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ.

Acts 15:35
But Paul and Barnabas remained at Antioch, along with many others, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord.
Παῦλος δὲ καὶ Βαρνάβας διέτριβον ἐν Ἀντιοχείᾳ διδάσκοντες καὶ εὐαγγελιζόμενοι μετὰ καὶ ἑτέρων πολλῶν τὸν λόγον τοῦ κύριου.

Acts 15:36
Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, “ - Let us go back [and] visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, [ to see ] how they are doing.”
Μετὰ δέ τινας ἡμέρας εἶπεν πρὸς Βαρνάβαν Παῦλος· ἐπιστρέψαντες δὴ ἐπισκεψώμεθα τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς κατὰ πόλιν πᾶσαν ἐν αἷς κατηγγείλαμεν τὸν λόγον τοῦ κύριου, πῶς ἔχουσιν.

Acts 15:40
but Paul chose Silas [and] left, commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord.
Παῦλος δὲ ἐπιλεξάμενος Σίλαν ἐξῆλθεν παραδοθεὶς τῇ χάριτι τοῦ κύριου ὑπὸ τῶν ἀδελφῶν.

Acts 16:14
Among those listening [was a] woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple [cloth] from [the] city of Thyatira, [who was] a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message.
Καί τις γυνὴ ὀνόματι Λυδία, πορφυρόπωλις πόλεως Θυατείρων σεβομένη τὸν θεόν, ἤκουεν ἧς ὁ κύριος διήνοιξεν τὴν καρδίαν προσέχειν τοῖς λαλουμένοις ὑπὸ τοῦ Παύλου.

Acts 16:15
And when [she] and her household had been baptized, she urged [us] , “If you consider me a believer in the Lord, come [and] stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.
ὡς δὲ ἐβαπτίσθη καὶ ὁ οἶκος αὐτῆς, παρεκάλεσεν λέγουσα· εἰ κεκρίκατέ με πιστὴν τῷ κύριῳ εἶναι, εἰσελθόντες εἰς τὸν οἶκόν μου μένετε· καὶ παρεβιάσατο ἡμᾶς.

Acts 16:16
One day as we were going to the [place of] prayer, we were met by a slave girl with a spirit of clairvoyance, who earned a large income for her masters by fortune-telling.
Ἐγένετο δὲ πορευομένων ἡμῶν εἰς τὴν προσευχήν, παιδίσκην τινὰ ἔχουσαν πνεῦμα πύθωνα ὑπαντῆσαι ἡμῖν, ἥτις ἐργασίαν πολλὴν παρεῖχεν τοῖς κύριοις αὐτῆς μαντευομένη.

Acts 16:19
[When] [the girl’s] owners saw that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas [and] dragged [them] before the authorities in the marketplace.
ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ κύριοι αὐτῆς ὅτι ἐξῆλθεν ἡ ἐλπὶς τῆς ἐργασίας αὐτῶν, ἐπιλαβόμενοι τὸν Παῦλον καὶ τὸν Σίλαν εἵλκυσαν εἰς τὴν ἀγορὰν ἐπὶ τοὺς ἄρχοντας,

Acts 16:30
Then he brought them out [and] asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
καὶ προαγαγὼν αὐτοὺς ἔξω ἔφη· κύριοι, τί με δεῖ ποιεῖν ἵνα σωθῶ;

Acts 16:31
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.”
οἱ δὲ εἶπαν· πίστευσον ἐπὶ τὸν κύριον Ἰησοῦν, καὶ σωθήσῃ σὺ καὶ ὁ οἶκός σου.

Acts 16:32
Then [Paul and Silas] spoke the word of the Lord to him [and] to everyone in his house.
καὶ ἐλάλησαν αὐτῷ τὸν λόγον τοῦ κύριου σὺν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ αὐτοῦ.

Acts 17:24
The God who made the world and everything in it is [the] Lord of heaven and earth [and] {does} not live in temples made by human hands.
ὁ θεὸς ὁ ποιήσας τὸν κόσμον καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτῷ, οὗτος οὐρανοῦ καὶ γῆς ὑπάρχων κύριος οὐκ ἐν χειροποιήτοις ναοῖς κατοικεῖ,

Acts 18:8
Crispus, the synagogue leader, and his whole household believed in the Lord. And many of the Corinthians who heard [ the message ] believed and were baptized.
Κρίσπος δὲ ὁ ἀρχισυνάγωγος ἐπίστευσεν τῷ κύριῳ σὺν ὅλῳ τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ, καὶ πολλοὶ τῶν Κορινθίων ἀκούοντες ἐπίστευον καὶ ἐβαπτίζοντο.

Acts 18:9
One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “ {Do} not be afraid; keep on speaking; {do} not be silent.
Εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος ἐν νυκτὶ δι᾽ ὁράματος τῷ Παύλῳ· μὴ φοβοῦ ἀλλὰ λάλει καὶ μὴ σιωπήσῃς,

Acts 18:25
He had been instructed in the way of the Lord and was fervent in spirit. He spoke and taught accurately about Jesus, [though] he knew only the baptism of John.
οὗτος ἦν κατηχημένος τὴν ὁδὸν τοῦ κύριου, καὶ ζέων τῷ πνεύματι ἐλάλει καὶ ἐδίδασκεν ἀκριβῶς τὰ περὶ τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ἐπιστάμενος μόνον τὸ βάπτισμα Ἰωάννου·

Acts 19:5
On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
ἀκούσαντες δὲ ἐβαπτίσθησαν εἰς τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ κύριου Ἰησοῦ·

Acts 19:10
This continued for two years, so that everyone who lived in [the province of] Asia, Jews and Greeks alike, heard the word of the Lord.
τοῦτο δὲ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ ἔτη δύο, ὥστε πάντας τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν Ἀσίαν ἀκοῦσαι τὸν λόγον τοῦ κύριου, Ἰουδαίους τε καὶ Ἕλληνας.

Acts 19:13
Now [there were] some itinerant Jewish exorcists who tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those with evil spirits. They would say, “I bind you [by] Jesus, whom Paul proclaims.”
Ἐπεχείρησαν δέ τινες καὶ τῶν περιερχομένων Ἰουδαίων ἐξορκιστῶν ὀνομάζειν ἐπὶ τοὺς ἔχοντας τὰ πνεύματα τὰ πονηρὰ τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ κύριου Ἰησοῦ λέγοντες· ὁρκίζω ὑμᾶς τὸν Ἰησοῦν ὃν Παῦλος κηρύσσει.

Acts 19:17
This became known to all the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, and fear came over all of them. [So] the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.
τοῦτο δὲ ἐγένετο γνωστὸν πᾶσιν Ἰουδαίοις τε καὶ Ἕλλησιν τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν τὴν Ἔφεσον καὶ ἐπέπεσεν φόβος ἐπὶ πάντας αὐτούς, καὶ ἐμεγαλύνετο τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ κύριου Ἰησοῦ,

Acts 19:20
So the word of the Lord powerfully continued to spread and prevail.
οὕτως κατὰ κράτος τοῦ κύριου ὁ λόγος ηὔξανεν καὶ ἴσχυεν.

Acts 20:19
I served the Lord with great humility and [with] tears, and in the trials I faced through the plots of the Jews.
δουλεύων τῷ κύριῳ μετὰ πάσης ταπεινοφροσύνης καὶ δακρύων καὶ πειρασμῶν τῶν συμβάντων μοι ἐν ταῖς ἐπιβουλαῖς τῶν Ἰουδαίων·

Acts 20:21
testifying to Jews and Greeks alike {about} repentance to God and faith in our Lord Jesus.
διαμαρτυρόμενος Ἰουδαίοις τε καὶ Ἕλλησιν τὴν εἰς θεὸν μετάνοιαν καὶ πίστιν εἰς τὸν κύριον ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦν.

Acts 20:24
But I consider my life of no value to myself, if only I may finish my course and [ complete ] the ministry I have received from the Lord Jesus— [ the ministry ] of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
ἀλλ᾽ οὐδενὸς λόγου ποιοῦμαι τὴν ψυχὴν τιμίαν ἐμαυτῷ, ὡς τελειῶσαι τὸν δρόμον μου καὶ τὴν διακονίαν ἣν ἔλαβον παρὰ τοῦ κύριου Ἰησοῦ, διαμαρτύρασθαι τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς χάριτος τοῦ θεοῦ.

Acts 20:28
Keep watch over yourselves and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He purchased with [His] own blood.
προσέχετε ἑαυτοῖς καὶ παντὶ τῷ ποιμνίῳ, ἐν ᾧ ὑμᾶς τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον ἔθετο ἐπισκόπους, ποιμαίνειν τὴν ἐκκλησίαν τοῦ κύριου, ἣν περιεποιήσατο διὰ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ ἰδίου.

Acts 20:35
In everything, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus Himself: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
πάντα ὑπέδειξα ὑμῖν ὅτι οὕτως κοπιῶντας δεῖ ἀντιλαμβάνεσθαι τῶν ἀσθενούντων, μνημονεύειν τε τῶν λόγων τοῦ κύριου Ἰησοῦ, ὅτι αὐτὸς εἶπεν· μακάριόν ἐστιν μᾶλλον διδόναι ἢ λαμβάνειν.

Acts 21:13
Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
τότε ἀπεκρίθη ὁ Παῦλος· τί ποιεῖτε κλαίοντες καὶ συνθρύπτοντές μου τὴν καρδίαν; ἐγὼ γὰρ οὐ μόνον δεθῆναι ἀλλὰ καὶ ἀποθανεῖν εἰς Ἱερουσαλὴμ ἑτοίμως ἔχω ὑπὲρ τοῦ ὀνόματος τοῦ κύριου Ἰησοῦ.

Acts 21:14
[When] he would not be dissuaded, we fell silent [and] said, “The Lord’s will be done.”
μὴ πειθομένου δὲ αὐτοῦ ἡσυχάσαμεν εἰπόντες· τοῦ κύριου τὸ θέλημα γινέσθω.

Acts 22:8
‘Who are You, Lord?’ I asked. ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting,’ He replied.
ἐγὼ δὲ ἀπεκρίθην· τίς εἶ κύριε; εἶπέν τε πρὸς ἐμέ· ἐγώ εἰμι Ἰησοῦς ὁ Ναζωραῖος ὃν σὺ διώκεις.

Acts 22:10
Then I asked, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ ‘Get up [and] go into Damascus,’ [He] told me. ‘There you will be told all that you have been appointed to do.’
εἶπον δέ· τί ποιήσω κύριε; ὁ δὲ κύριος εἶπεν πρός με· ἀναστὰς πορεύου εἰς Δαμασκόν, κἀκεῖ σοι λαληθήσεται περὶ πάντων ὧν τέτακταί σοι ποιῆσαι.

Acts 22:19
Lord,’ I answered, ‘vvv they know very well that in one synagogue after another I imprisoned and beat those who believed in You.
κἀγὼ εἶπον· κύριε, αὐτοὶ ἐπίστανται ὅτι ἐγὼ ἤμην φυλακίζων καὶ δέρων κατὰ τὰς συναγωγὰς τοὺς πιστεύοντας ἐπὶ σέ·

Acts 23:11
The following night the Lord stood by [Paul] [and] said, “Take courage! As you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so also you must testify in Rome.”
Τῇ δὲ ἐπιούσῃ νυκτὶ ἐπιστὰς αὐτῷ ὁ κύριος εἶπεν· θάρσει· ὡς γὰρ διεμαρτύρω τὰ περὶ ἐμοῦ εἰς Ἱερουσαλήμ, οὕτω σε δεῖ καὶ εἰς ̔Ρώμην μαρτυρῆσαι.

Acts 25:26
I have nothing definite to write to [our] sovereign one about [him] . Therefore I have brought him before all of you, and especially before you, King Agrippa, so that after this inquiry I may have something to write.

Acts 26:15
‘Who are You, Lord?’ I asked. ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ the Lord replied.
ἐγὼ δὲ εἶπα· τίς εἶ κύριε; ὁ δὲ κύριος εἶπεν· ἐγώ εἰμι Ἰησοῦς ὃν σὺ διώκεις.

Acts 28:31
Boldly [and] freely he proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom 1:4

Rom 1:7
To all in Rome who are loved by God [and] called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom 4:8
Blessed [is] [the] man [whose] sin [the] Lord will never count against him.”

Rom 4:24
but also for us, to whom [righteousness] will be credited— for us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from [the] dead.
ἀλλὰ καὶ δι᾽ ἡμᾶς οἷς μέλλει λογίζεσθαι, τοῖς πιστεύουσιν ἐπὶ τὸν ἐγείραντα Ἰησοῦν τὸν κύριον ἡμῶν ἐκ νεκρῶν,

Rom 5:1
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Δικαιωθέντες οὖν ἐκ πίστεως εἰρήνην ἔχωμεν πρὸς τὸν θεὸν διὰ τοῦ κύριου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ,

Rom 5:11
Not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
οὐ μόνον δέ, ἀλλὰ καὶ καυχώμενοι ἐν τῷ θεῷ διὰ τοῦ κύριου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ δι᾽ οὗ νῦν τὴν καταλλαγὴν ἐλάβομεν.

Rom 5:21
so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness, to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
ἵνα ὥσπερ ἐβασίλευσεν ἡ ἁμαρτία ἐν τῷ θανάτῳ, οὕτως καὶ ἡ χάρις βασιλεύσῃ διὰ δικαιοσύνης εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον διὰ Ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ τοῦ κύριου ἡμῶν.

Rom 6:23
For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
τὰ γὰρ ὀψώνια τῆς ἁμαρτίας θάνατος, τὸ δὲ χάρισμα τοῦ θεοῦ ζωὴ αἰώνιος ἐν χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ τῷ κύριῳ ἡμῶν.

Rom 7:25
Thanks [be] to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with [my] mind I serve [the] law of God, but [with my] flesh [ I serve the] law of sin.
Εὐχαριστῶ τῷ θεῷ διὰ Ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ τοῦ κύριου ἡμῶν. ἄρα οὖν αὐτὸς ἐγὼ τῷ μὲν νοῒ δουλεύω νόμῳ θεοῦ τῇ δὲ σαρκὶ νόμῳ ἁμαρτίας.

Rom 8:39
neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.
οὔτε ὕψωμα οὔτε βάθος οὔτε τις κτίσις ἑτέρα δυνήσεται ἡμᾶς χωρίσαι ἀπὸ τῆς ἀγάπης τοῦ θεοῦ τῆς ἐν χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ τῷ κύριῳ ἡμῶν.

Rom 9:28
For [the] Lord will carry out [His] sentence on the earth thoroughly and decisively.”
λόγον γὰρ συντελῶν καὶ συντέμνων ποιήσει κύριος ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.

Rom 9:29
[It is] just as Isaiah predicted: “Unless [the] Lord of Hosts had left us descendants, we would have become like Sodom, we would have resembled Gomorrah.”
καὶ καθὼς προείρηκεν Ἡσαΐας· εἰ μὴ κύριος σαβαὼθ ἐγκατέλιπεν ἡμῖν σπέρμα, ὡς Σόδομα ἂν ἐγενήθημεν καὶ ὡς Γόμορρα ἂν ὡμοιώθημεν.

Rom 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus [is] Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from [the] dead, you will be saved.
ὅτι ἐὰν ὁμολογήσῃς ἐν τῷ στόματί σου κύριον Ἰησοῦν καὶ πιστεύσῃς ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου ὅτι ὁ θεὸς αὐτὸν ἤγειρεν ἐκ νεκρῶν, σωθήσῃ·

Rom 10:12
For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord [is Lord] of all, [and] gives richly to all who call on Him,
οὐ γάρ ἐστιν διαστολὴ Ἰουδαίου τε καὶ Ἕλληνος· ὁ γὰρ αὐτὸς κύριος πάντων πλουτῶν εἰς πάντας τοὺς ἐπικαλουμένους αὐτόν.

Rom 10:13
for, “Everyone who calls on the name of [the] Lord will be saved.”
πᾶς γὰρ ὃς ἂν ἐπικαλέσηται τὸ ὄνομα κύριου σωθήσεται.

Rom 10:16
But not all of them welcomed the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
ἀλλ᾽ οὐ πάντες ὑπήκουσαν τῷ εὐαγγελίῳ· Ἡσαΐας γὰρ λέγει· κύριε, τίς ἐπίστευσεν τῇ ἀκοῇ ἡμῶν;

Rom 11:3
Lord, they have killed Your prophets [and] torn down Your altars. I [am] the only one left, and they are seeking my life [ as well ] ”?
κύριε, τοὺς προφήτας σου ἀπέκτειναν, τὰ θυσιαστήριά σου κατέσκαψαν, κἀγὼ ὑπελείφθην μόνος, καὶ ζητοῦσιν τὴν ψυχήν μου.

Rom 11:34
“Who has known [the] mind of [the] Lord? Or who has been His counselor?”
τίς γὰρ ἔγνω νοῦν κύριου; ἢ τίς σύμβουλος αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο;

Rom 12:11
Do not let [your] zeal subside; keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
τῇ σπουδῇ μὴ ὀκνηροί, τῷ πνεύματι ζέοντες, τῷ κύριῳ δουλεύοντες,

Rom 12:19
{Do} not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for [God’s] wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance [is] Mine; I will repay, says [the] Lord.”
μὴ ἑαυτοὺς ἐκδικοῦντες, ἀγαπητοί, ἀλλὰ δότε τόπον τῇ ὀργῇ· γέγραπται γάρ· ἐμοὶ ἐκδίκησις, ἐγὼ ἀνταποδώσω, λέγει κύριος.

Rom 13:14
Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for [the] desires of the flesh.
ἀλλὰ ἐνδύσασθε τὸν κύριον Ἰησοῦν χριστὸν καὶ τῆς σαρκὸς πρόνοιαν μὴ ποιεῖσθε εἰς ἐπιθυμίας.

Rom 14:4
Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To [his] own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
σὺ τίς εἶ ὁ κρίνων ἀλλότριον οἰκέτην; τῷ ἰδίῳ κύριῳ στήκει ἢ πίπτει. σταθήσεται δέ, δυνατεῖ γὰρ ὁ κύριος στῆσαι αὐτόν.

Rom 14:6
He who observes [a special] day [does so] to [the] Lord; he who eats [does so] to [the] Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains [does so] to [the] Lord and gives thanks to God.
ὁ φρονῶν τὴν ἡμέραν κύριῳ φρονεῖ· καὶ ὁ ἐσθίων κύριῳ ἐσθίει, εὐχαριστεῖ γὰρ τῷ θεῷ· καὶ ὁ μὴ ἐσθίων κύριῳ οὐκ ἐσθίει, καὶ εὐχαριστεῖ τῷ θεῷ.

Rom 14:8
If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live [or] die, we belong to the Lord.
ἐάν τε γὰρ ζῶμεν, τῷ κύριῳ ζῶμεν, ἐάν τε ἀποθνήσκωμεν, τῷ κύριῳ ἀποθνήσκομεν. ἐάν τε οὖν ζῶμεν, ἐάν τε ἀποθνήσκωμεν, τοῦ κύριου ἐσμέν.

Rom 14:11
It is written: “ [As surely as] I live, says [the] Lord, every knee will bow before Me; every tongue will confess to God.”
γέγραπται γάρ· ζῶ ἐγώ, λέγει κύριος, ὅτι ἐμοὶ κάμψει πᾶν γόνυ, καὶ πᾶσα γλῶσσα ἐξομολογήσεται τῷ θεῷ.

Rom 14:14
I am convinced and fully persuaded in [the] Lord Jesus that nothing [is] unclean in itself. But if [anyone] regards something as unclean, [then] for him [it is] unclean.
Οἶδα καὶ πέπεισμαι ἐν κύριῳ Ἰησοῦ ὅτι οὐδὲν κοινὸν δι᾽ ἑαυτοῦ, εἰ μὴ τῷ λογιζομένῳ τί κοινὸν εἶναι, ἐκείνῳ κοινόν·

Rom 15:6
so that with one mind [and] one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
ἵνα ὁμοθυμαδὸν ἐν ἑνὶ στόματι δοξάζητε τὸν θεὸν καὶ πατέρα τοῦ κύριου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ.

Rom 15:11
And again: “Praise the Lord, all [you] Gentiles, and extol Him, all [you] peoples.”
καὶ πάλιν· αἰνεῖτε πάντα τὰ ἔθνη τὸν κύριον, καὶ ἐπαινεσάτωσαν αὐτὸν πάντες οἱ λαοί.

Rom 15:30
Now I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.
Παρακαλῶ δὲ ὑμᾶς, ἀδελφοί, διὰ τοῦ κύριου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ καὶ διὰ τῆς ἀγάπης τοῦ πνεύματος, συναγωνίσασθαί μοι ἐν ταῖς προσευχαῖς ὑπὲρ ἐμοῦ πρὸς τὸν θεόν,

Rom 16:2
Welcome her in [the] Lord in a manner worthy of [the] saints, and assist her with anything she may need from you. For she has been a great help to many [people] , including me.
ἵνα αὐτὴν προσδέξησθε ἐν κύριῳ ἀξίως τῶν ἁγίων καὶ παραστῆτε αὐτῇ ἐν ᾧ ἂν ὑμῶν χρῄζῃ πράγματι· καὶ γὰρ αὕτη προστάτις πολλῶν ἐγενήθη καὶ ἐμοῦ αὐτοῦ.

Rom 16:8
Greet Ampliatus, my beloved in [the] Lord.
Ἀσπάσασθε Ἀμπλιᾶτον τὸν ἀγαπητόν μου ἐν κύριῳ.

Rom 16:11
Greet Herodion, my fellow countryman. Greet those from the [household] of Narcissus who are in [the] Lord.
Ἀσπάσασθε Ἡρωδίωνα τὸν συγγενῆν μου.
Ἀσπάσασθε τοὺς ἐκ τῶν Ναρκίσσου τοὺς ὄντας ἐν κύριῳ.

Rom 16:12
Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, [ women ] who have worked hard in [the] Lord. Greet [my] beloved Persis, who has worked very hard in [the] Lord.
Ἀσπάσασθε Τρύφαιναν καὶ Τρυφῶσαν τὰς κοπιώσας ἐν κύριῳ. ἀσπάσασθε Περσίδα τὴν ἀγαπητήν, ἥτις πολλὰ ἐκοπίασεν ἐν κύριῳ.

Rom 16:13
Greet Rufus, chosen in [the] Lord, and his mother, [who has been a mother] to me as well.
Ἀσπάσασθε ̔Ροῦφον τὸν ἐκλεκτὸν ἐν κύριῳ καὶ τὴν μητέρα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐμοῦ.

Rom 16:18
For such people {are} not serving our Lord Christ, but their [own] appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.
οἱ γὰρ τοιοῦτοι τῷ κύριῳ ἡμῶν χριστῷ οὐ δουλεύουσιν ἀλλὰ τῇ ἑαυτῶν κοιλίᾳ, καὶ διὰ τῆς χρηστολογίας καὶ εὐλογίας ἐξαπατῶσιν τὰς καρδίας τῶν ἀκάκων.

Rom 16:20
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you.
ὁ δὲ θεὸς τῆς εἰρήνης συντρίψει τὸν σατανᾶν ὑπὸ τοὺς πόδας ὑμῶν ἐν τάχει. ἡ χάρις τοῦ κύριου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν.

Rom 16:22
I, Tertius, who wrote down this letter, greet you in [the] Lord.

1Cor 1:2

1Cor 1:8
[He] will sustain you to [the] end, [so that you will be] blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Cor 1:9
God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, [is] faithful.

I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree together, [so that] there may be no divisions among you and [that] you may be united in mind and conviction.

And again, “ [The] Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”
καὶ πάλιν· κύριος γεινώσκει τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς τῶν σοφῶν ὅτι εἰσὶν μάταιοι.

1Cor 4:4
My conscience is clear, but that does not vindicate me. It is [the] Lord who judges me.
οὐδὲν γὰρ ἐμαυτῷ σύνοιδα· ἀλλ᾽ οὐκ ἐν τούτῳ δεδικαίωμαι· ὁ δὲ ἀνακρίνων με κύριός ἐστιν.

1Cor 4:5
Therefore judge nothing before [the] appointed time; [wait] until the Lord comes. [He] will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of [ men’s ] hearts. At that time each will receive [his] praise from God.
ὥστε μὴ πρὸ καιροῦ τί κρίνετε ἕως ἂν ἔλθῃ ὁ κύριος, ὃς καὶ φωτίσει τὰ κρυπτὰ τοῦ σκότους καὶ φανερώσει τὰς βουλὰς τῶν καρδιῶν· καὶ τότε ὁ ἔπαινος γενήσεται ἑκάστῳ ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ.

1Cor 4:17
That is why I have sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in [the] Lord. [He] will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which is exactly what I teach everywhere in every church.
διὰ τοῦτο ἔπεμψα ὑμῖν Τιμόθεον, ὅς ἐστίν μου τέκνον ἀγαπητὸν καὶ πιστὸν ἐν κύριῳ, ὃς ὑμᾶς ἀναμνήσει τὰς ὁδούς μου τὰς ἐν χριστῷ, καθὼς πανταχοῦ ἐν πάσῃ ἐκκλησίᾳ διδάσκω.

1Cor 4:19
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing, and [then] I will find out not [only] what these arrogant [people] are saying, but what power [they have] .
ἐλεύσομαι δὲ ταχέως πρὸς ὑμᾶς, ἐὰν ὁ κύριος θελήσῃ, καὶ γνώσομαι οὐ τὸν λόγον τῶν πεφυσιωμένων ἀλλὰ τὴν δύναμιν.

1Cor 5:4
[When] you are gathered in the name of our Lord Jesus and I [am with you] in spirit, along with the power of the Lord Jesus,

hand this man {over} to Satan for [the] destruction of the flesh, so that [his] spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.

1Cor 6:11
And that [is what] some [of] you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
καὶ ταῦτα τίνες ἦτε· ἀλλὰ ἀπελούσασθε ἀλλὰ ἡγιάσθητε ἀλλὰ ἐδικαιώθητε ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι τοῦ κύριου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ πνεύματι τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν.

1Cor 6:13
“ - Food for the stomach and the stomach for food,” but God will destroy them both. The body [is] not [intended] for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
