True or false, Herodotus appears to be speaking here of events supposedly occurring long before the Trojan war. He is not claiming that Dionysus only became known to the Pelasgians (and hence the Greeks in general) after the Trojan war.

True or false, Herodotus is claiming that Dyonisos was the last to be known.

An example of an old god who was later believed to be a new god.
