Mark 1:16-18 originally the lost final of proto-Mark

6 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 17 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 18 At once they left their nets and followed him.

(Mark 1:16-18)

This logion (see the underlined part) seems to be a joke in this point of the gospel.

Vice versa, if this logion has been spoken by the risen Jesus, then it would appear more evident the attribution to Peter of the mission to convert people.

Hence the question: if, afterall, his message was so orthodox, why was it displaced from its original position (= the end of the gospel) ?

The principal difference would be that the risen Jesus comes to find Peter in Galilee, while in our current final, it is Peter who has to find the risen Jesus in Galilee.

In the first case, the risen Jesus works as a ghost, appearing bluntly before the fisher Peter and imparting bluntly orders, while in the second case, the risen Jesus is very carnal: he is physically localized.

So, decisively not orthodox.
