For anyone that may be interested, amateur scholar Chris Palmero has started a podcast in the Tubingen spirit arguing for a 2nd century dating of most christian texts. It's titled Born in the Second Century.

Will he also go with the idea that Jesus was not Jewish? After all, escaping from "Jesus the Jew" seems to be a strangely common outcome of much of the late 19th century German theories of this sort.

The Tubingen School of Theology founded by Ferdinand Christian Baur: Baur argued that second century Christianity represented the synthesis of two opposing theses: Jewish Christianity (Petrine Christianity) and Gentile Christianity (Pauline Christianity).
