Dujardin against Turmel

I am expecting this book:

I would like to see clear why, according to Dujardin:
  • 1) Loisy's approach to the epistles is better than Turmel's approach
  • 2) why, assuming Alfred Loisy is correct and Joseph Turmel is wrong on the epistles, mythicism becomes virtually immensely more probable than historicity.

I have just started the reading of this book.

A first great confutation by Dujardin against Turmel is the impossibility, for a Marcion author of a Gospel, be the same Marcion who expanded so strongly the original epistles. Remember that the epistles are so silent about a historical Jesus that even the various false Paul are absorbed totally in that silence about a historical Jesus.

I understand now better why Robert M. Price was obliged to insist irrationally that Marcion didn't know yet no Gospel: only so he could be made the first editor of the epistles, and still show a so absolute ignorance about an earthly Jesus. It is sad to see the presence of harmonizers also among mythicists and not only as it happens usually, among Christian scholars.

Hence, more a false Paul is close temporally to the writing of the first gospel, more the probability decreases that a such false Paul was unaware about a Gospel Jesus.

1 Timothy 6:13 docet.

Another great confutation of Turmel by Dujardin:

The Book of Revelation (dated by Dujardin around the 70 CE), in the messages to 7 Churches, already reveals the existence of the Paulinism (as a threat), hence the Paulinism couldn't postdate the Book of Revelation.

Now it becomes clear why Turmel was obliged to postdate Revelation even after Marcion and Bar-Kokhba.

Dujardin thinks that Marcion found the epistles already partially interpolated by the judaizers.

He inscribes this pre-Marcionite interpolation by Judaizers to the "invasion" of Judaizers that followed the 70 CE, the same about which Gerd Ludemann talked when he wrote:

Here we find a development which is by no means rare in history, namely that a concern for unity at almost any price (and therefore really of no use) revives the opposed forces which had first sparked off the conflict. This obviously became true in the Pauline communities, which were invaded by Jewish Christian missionaries after the Conference.
