Did Augustine credit Mark ending at 16:8 ?

So Augustine could have solved the possible problem by saying this is evidence that Matthew or John preceded Mark. We have already shown that Mark was dependent on Luke.

Mark, like Luke, used *Ev as a source - but do you have any specific examples in mind?
