But DCH thinks I am not supposed to celebrate the giving of knowledge. I am supposed to "weigh in" on the link. Ok. How about "I think Israelite inscriptions are bad because ... there are too damn many of them."

Why, even now I happen to have one half prepared in my secret workshop, almost ready to be cleverly planted at an appropriate archeological dig.stephan happy huller wrote:But DCH thinks I am not supposed to celebrate the giving of knowledge. That might be a good topic- "fraudulent Biblical archaeologic finds"
Re: The Inscriptions of Israel/Palestine project
Very interesting database, thanks for the link.
So, I searched under "Nazareth." What comes up?
One inscription, seems it's from an ossuary in Jerusalem, dated betw 20 BCE and 70 CE, provenance unknown. It says "Yeshua son of Yehosef."
WHAT? Is this a forged ossuary of Jesus? I don't know enough to have a way of evaluating this listing. And why is it connected to Nazareth in the database?
