To the most honorable and benevolent, adorned with all virtue, Abba Paphnouthis.

Valeria in Christ salutes you.

I request and beseech you, most honorable father, that you may intercede for me with Christ and allow me to receive. In this way, I believe through your prayers, for those who are devoted and religious reveal visions. For I am greatly afflicted by a severe illness and shortness of breath. Thus, I have believed and believe that if you pray on my behalf, I will receive. I pray to God, and I also pray to you, that you may remember me in your holy prayers. Even if I am not present in body, I am present at your feet in spirit. I present to you my daughters, and please remember them in your holy prayers, Vassianis and Theoclia.

Many greetings to you from me and my companion, and pray for him as well. My whole household also greets you. Farewell, most honored father.

To the most honorable and beloved father, Papnoutios, Athanasios in the Lord God, greetings.

May the Almighty God and Christ grant your godliness to remain with us for a long time, and may He remember us in your holy prayers. As your sanctity persists, it brings us complete well-being. Therefore, I earnestly request you to remember us frequently. Your prayers, which are offered on our behalf, are received through your holy love, and as if asking, you will have success in your holy prayers for us.

I rejoice in your righteousness, knowing that you do everything for our remembrance. For I know that you love us, and especially for Didymis and my mother, for Didymis [- ca.9 -] and my mother are exceptional. I am undergoing the greatest struggle concerning me, suffering and enduring extreme hardships. I trust in the Savior of all. Struggling in these illnesses, we find solace that, through your care, the good son Orion has been sent to us.

Theodosios, [ ̣ ̣ ̣ ̣], Antiochos, Didymis, the mother, all those of our household, we honor, worship, and greet you, most honorable and beloved father. May the divine providence preserve you in good health for an endless time, always remembering us, beloved, most honorable.

To the most honorable and beloved father, Papnoutios, Athanasios in the Lord God.

To my beloved father Sansnos, Harpokration, greetings in the Lord.

Petron, who troubles the brother Appianus concerning the affairs of Papnoutios, make him endure a few more days until they find a suitable time to come to you and settle the matter among themselves. This is how they deemed it appropriate. But be diligent, dear one, stand by the brother, for this befits your love in Chrest/Christ. If it is not burdensome for you, obtain for us ten measures of barley and send them to us, stating from how many it has been obtained. I greet all the brothers with whom you are.

Wishing you health and cheerfulness continually,

To my beloved father Sansnoti, Harpokration.

To the beloved and kind-hearted brothers, the presbyters of Nepherosis, two elders of the Athyrte nome, brother Kapiton greets you most joyfully in the Lord. I consider it trustworthy and fitting, in a manner beyond reproach, to address your disposition in God, so that through your prayers, I may return to you in good health. I warmly greet Father Pessans and all the soldiers of Chrest/Christ who are with us, and everyone else by name. Therefore, fathers, make haste, as I have heard that my garments were seized in Psellamache, from Tampeti to Psellamachis and to Tampeti. Therefore, join them and go to Tampeti to our Father Pamon, the elder.

To the beloved brothers, the presbyters of the monastery in Nepherosis, two [ ] Athyrte [ ] Kapiton

To my most honored and marvelous lords, to my dear father and my sweetest mother, and to the venerable Theophanes, your servant and worshiper, Philoxenos, wishes well in the Lord. I rejoice exceedingly and have received with great joy your sweetest letters. I desire to know, my lords most honored, that you, having the love in Christ, are well-received, and your prayers make everything go well. I pay attention to myself, just as you advised me through your sweetest letters.

I hope through your prayers to achieve a perfect, blameless, unchangeable, and sincere hope, both for myself and for you. I am grateful to you for the gifts you have sent me. The mother of Mena, Epiphania, and my soul, Prosforia, greets you warmly. Pallas and your sons Isaiah and Dorotheos also greet you. Greet for me my lord and my lady, Maria, the monastic Athone, my dearest brother Heraklamos, my sister Heraei, Joseph, John, Parigorion, and Theon the monk.

I received on the ship of Samuel large bundles, two swords, honeycomb, oil jars, and a tunny fish. Also, on the ship of Phoedamon, I received nine amphorae of wine and a basket of bread loaves. Pray for Saint John, Saint Euphemia, Saint Mena, Saint Peter, and Saint Julian. May the Holy Spirit envelop you. Appoint a day for the distribution of the clothing.

I request Phoebamon and Philexena, the daughter of Theophanes, and all in the household, to greet my most honored father Zois. Your servant Philoxenos, in the Lord, greets you. Hail to God, Philagrios, Hyperexios, Philadelphos, and Corinthios."

* The editors suggest this is with reference to the birth of Christ, making this "AD" 341, but I don't understand that decision (was that a calendar in use then and there?). If this is the Augustan year, counted from 31 BCE, then it's 310 CE. Possibly it's a calendar that starts even later, making it date after 341 CE? I am interested in any additional information that anyone has.
Consubstantial Trinity must be post-Nicene probably well after Nicea. I agree it can't mean 341 CE. I will try and investIgate.

To my lord, greetings. Above all, I pray to the trustworthy God and by the divine providence of our Lord Jesus Christ, day and night, for your complete well-being, along with my dearest sister Thebeis. Now, therefore, I write to you so that you may know the truth. As I left, saying that at her time, if I find my brother Kopreas, I will send him up, I departed. I found him ill, and for this reason, I did not send him back. But I thank God; he is well. If we find the opportunity, I will send him alone. I am fully informed about the remedy. Send me a letter about your complete well-being and make it clear quickly, so that we may know your affairs. Kopreas greets you himself. May God preserve you, Apamios.

I am well. I wish you many years of life.

May God preserve you. Apamios.

I am well. I wish you many years of life.
