[Hippol]ytus is reported to have obeyed the orders of the tyrant [while] the presbyter No[vatian] remained in schism, at the time when the sword cut through the pious mother's tender flesh. Devoted to Christ, [he sought the] kingdoms of the pious. He had sought where the people could proceed, so that all might follow the Catholic faith. As our [confessed martyr deserved], having heard these things, Damasus affirms all for Christ.

A temple dedicated to the virgin Agnes. The triumph of Christ over death when he descended to hell.

Constantina d(eu)m venerans Christoq(ue) dicata / omnibus i<m=N>pensis devota mente paratis / numine divino multum Christoq(ue) iuvante / sacravit templum victricis virginis Agnes / templorum quod vincit opus terrenaq(ue) cuncta / aurea quae rutilant summi fastigia tecti / nomen enim Christi celebratur sedibus istis / tartaream solus potuit qui vincere mortem / invectus caelo solusq(ue) inferre triumphum / nomen Adae referens et corpus et omnia membra / a mortis tenebris et caeca nocte levata / dignum igitur munus martyr devotaq(ue) Christo / ex opibus nostris per s(a)ecula longa tenebris / o felix virgo memorandi nominis Agnes // Constantina deo

Constantina, venerating God and dedicated to Christ, with all her resources and a devoted mind prepared, with the divine will and much help from Christ, consecrated the temple of the victorious virgin Agnes. The temple, which surpasses all earthly things, with its golden pinnacles shining, celebrates the name of Christ in these abodes. For he alone could overcome death, having descended to hell and triumphing alone, bearing the name of Adam and his body and all his members, lifted from the darkness of death and the blind night. Therefore, a blessed virgin, Agnes, with a memorable name, endowed with gifts from our possessions through long ages in the darkness, Constantina to God.

Theodora qu(a)e vixit annos XXI m(enses) VII / d(ies) XXIII in pace est bisomu(m) / amplificam sequitur vitam dum casta Afrodite fecit ad astr/a viam Christi modo gaudet in aula restitit haec mundo / semper caelestia quaerens optima servatrix legis fideique / magistra dedit egregiam sanctis per s(a)ecula mentem inde Chr(istus) eximios paradisi / regnat odores tempore continuo vernant ubi gramina rivis / expectatque deum superas quo surgat ad auras hoc posuit corpus tumulo / mortalia linquens fundavitque locum coniunx Eva[grius ins]tans / dep(osita) die [3] / Antonio et Syagrio con(sulibus)

Theodora, who lived for twenty-one years, seven months, and twenty-three days, is in peace. Having twice increased her life, she now follows the way to the stars of Christ, having made a pure offering to Venus. She rejoices in the heavenly court, having resisted the world, always seeking the best things, a devoted keeper of the law and mistress of faith. She gave an excellent mind to the saints through the ages, and from there, Christ rules the extraordinary fragrances of paradise. Continuously, in time, where the grass blooms by the streams, she awaits God, from whom she may rise to the heavenly airs. Having left behind mortal things, she placed her body in the tomb, establishing a place, urged on by her husband Evagrius, on the day [?], during the consulship of Antonio and Syagrius.
