That is all. Because the obvious reaction is expected: the Father is YHWH, Jesus was the real name of the messiah of YHWH, and the written (invented) midrash from OT will persuade you of it.
Please don't tell me that the Jews were used to punish themselves (amen and so on): that is part and parcel of the invented midrash above (i.e. part and parcel of the reaction to gentile anti-Semitic news).
If that is all, if the suffering of Jesus/Joshua on the earth was introduced the first time by foreign (not israelite) anti-Semitic people, then this moves to ask about the role of ancient anti-Semitism. Was it strong enough to candidate automatically the "Jews" as the earthly counter-parts of the celestial demons?

The first of the two reasons, that the Jesus lived under Janneus would be more apt for a Simonian as Marcion, is very weak and deserves to be ignored.
The second reason, that the Gospel midrash is pure anti-marcionism in action, is a very powerful reason, the genuine pinnacle of the scientific scholarship on the gospels.
Therefore the Robert Price's point stands entirely:
