Though merely upon first reading, I still find his early dating plus an original in Coptic do not readily go together--written Coptic may not have even existed then.

The proposal that a person, Marcion, did not exist is new to me. I think he did.

Though Linnsen's work offers several thought-provoking observations, I have noted that his very early dating of Coptic Thomas appears unworkable.
Further, though Jesus may have spoken Greek or Aramaic or Hebrew, or all three, it seems quite a stretch to posit--if in fact Linnsen does this--that Jesus spoke Egyptian, recorded as written Coptic.
