Well the author of Luke-Acts is simply unknown, anonymous. The attribution of those works to traveling companion of Paul's named Luke is a purely legendary tradition based on little more than a single passing reference to someone named Luke mentioned by Paul. Paul tells us nothing about that person and nothing connects that person the composition of Luke or Acts. "Luke the physician" is basically an imaginary character constructed to fill in a blank.gmx wrote:Why do you assert that Luke is a fictional character?
