He has avoided meeting me in person, whatever that may imply. So I don't know how he knew my initials are "DCA"--go figure.

7 years ish of debating with you, I really don't know you to dislike you.

I told you in emails I work weekends, and have my daughter often.

There was nothing personal with not meeting you for breakfast.

I have issues with your work and find it too apologetically focused for my taste, but that does not reflect my view of you as a person

I take back all the bad things I said about you.
And just in time. I was about to vote on Hobson's choice, SA's ultimatum whether you're the one or the other. (Is BOTH necessarily excluded?)

Actually, there is a better explanation for why outhouse has avoided meeting me those times I was in his hometown.
He didn't fear exposure as being stupid or a troll.
He's simply like the rest of you.
Bigoted.
Against an apologist for Christianity.
No, I'm not a Bible-thumper. I don't warm up to most of the Old Testament. Nor Paul in the New. But on the relevant scale here at BCH between Biblicist on one side with Mythicist on the other extreme, outhouse is in the middle as a Historicist. I as a Biblicist am a pariah, particularly since I came those Sundays to attend Lutheran worship services. No compromise allowable with that!

Adam there is a night and day difference between apologetic theology with no historical credibility. And credible modern academic secular studies offered at just about every credible university.

You going against academia, that does not make me bigoted.
No, I'm not a Bible-thumper.
Nor have implied once you were.

I have many priest that are friends as well as many different scholars from apologetic to secular I get along great with.
I came those Sundays to attend Lutheran worship services
I grew up in a Lutheran church school, and would not hold that against you.

It is your work, exactly where it separates from academia.

Sorry some mythicist remind me of exactly how I argued before the professors got a hold of me, when I was a mythicst. [very short period of time]

This presumably explains why we see the same scoffing, the same arrogance and dogmatism, and the same ignorance of alternative arguments that are so common among Christian professors reflected in some of your posts? I learn a lot from professors, but I try for most part to avoid repeating their unprofessional behaviour.
