Why are the pharisees enemies of Jesus?

Simply put many were Hellenistic Pharisees, the Pharisees were divided between themselves some mirroring Zealots and some were Hellenist with their own direction.

There was a division in Judaism between Hellenistic Judaism which was almost a Proselyte Judaism, and that of the Oppressed common Aramaic peasant Judaism which was more pious.
